ac-az202
ANZZI AC-AZ202 Bohemian Folding Teak Shower Seat (18.7" x 12.6") in Polished Chrome

The ANZZI AC-AZ202 is the Bohemian folding teak shower seat, 18.7" x 12.6", in polished chrome: a wall-mounted, ADA compliant seat that folds up out of the way and supports up to 280 lbs. ANZZI made Bohemian as a safe and comfortable seating solution for any luxury bath or shower, so you can sit down to wash, shave or rest without giving up floor space when the seat is not in use.

Sit When You Want To, Fold It Away When You Do Not

A shower seat changes how a shower works for many people. Sitting makes it easier and safer to wash your feet, shave your legs or rinse a child, and it gives anyone who tires standing a place to rest under the water. When nobody needs it, the seat folds up flat against the wall, so the shower keeps its full floor space. That makes Bohemian a good fit for a compact walk-in shower as well as a large one, and for homes planning ahead for aging in place.

Natural Teak, 18.7" x 12.6" Seat

The seat itself is natural teak wood, a material with a warm, spa-like look and feel underhand that pairs well with stone and tile. At 18.7" x 12.6", it is a compact seat that suits a smaller shower or a tub-shower combination. ANZZI rates it to support up to 280 lbs, and it is ADA compliant.

The compact size is the point of the Bohemian: at 18.7" wide and 12.6" deep, it gives a real seat without reaching far into the shower, so even folded down it leaves room to stand and turn. In a shower and tub combination it can sit at the back wall, clear of the curtain.

Hardware That Stands Up to the Shower

The trim and hardware are RHINO ALLOY certified aluminum, ANZZI's own quality certification. ANZZI describes the hardware as rust and scratch resistant, which matters for metal that is wet every day. The polished chrome finish matches chrome valves and shower trim, and ANZZI also offers the seat in matte black.

Mounted Directly to the Studs

Bohemian is a direct-to-stud wall-mounted seat: it fastens into the wall framing rather than into tile or drywall alone, which is what lets it carry up to 280 lbs safely. All of the hardware is included. ANZZI recommends professional installation, and the right time to plan it is before the shower is tiled, so the studs, or added blocking, sit exactly where the seat will go.

For a safer, more comfortable shower that keeps its floor space, the ANZZI AC-AZ202 Bohemian folding teak shower seat gives a 18.7" x 12.6" teak seat rated to 280 lbs, mounted to the studs and folded away when not in use.

Features

Folds Up When Not in Use
The seat folds up flat against the wall, so the shower keeps its full floor space until you want to sit.

Supports up to 280 lbs
ANZZI rates the Bohemian to support up to 280 lbs, mounted directly to the wall studs.

ADA Compliant
The seat is ADA compliant, which makes it a sound choice for accessible bathrooms and for aging in place.

Natural Teak, 18.7" x 12.6"
The 18.7" x 12.6" seat is natural teak wood, warm to sit on and at home with stone or tile.

Rust and Scratch Resistant Hardware
ANZZI describes the hardware as rust and scratch resistant, built for metal that is wet every day.

Polished Chrome Finish
The hardware and trim are finished in polished chrome; ANZZI also offers the seat in matte black.

Direct-to-Stud Mounting
The seat mounts directly to the studs, which is what lets it carry its rated load safely; all hardware is included.

Specifications

Model: AC-AZ202

Seat Size: 18.7" x 12.6"

Weight Capacity: 280 lbs

Seat Material: Natural teak wood

Hardware Finish: Polished Chrome

Mounting: Wall mounted, direct to stud

Folding: Folds up when not in use

ADA: Compliant

Hardware: Rust and scratch resistant, all included

Series: Bohemian

Warranty: Limited lifetime (register within 90 days)

What's Included

ANZZI AC-AZ202 Bohemian folding teak shower seat (polished chrome hardware)

Mounting hardware

Installation & Care

Installation
Wall mounted, direct to stud.
