It is for a tub that sits away from the wall with no deck or wall to mount a faucet on: the filler rises from the floor on its own posts and arcs over the rim.

Three Handles, Two Outlets

Three handles share the work. The Suni's two supply points sit 7.9" apart, hot on the left post and cold on the right, and each needs a 1-1/8" hole through the floor with a 1/2" female-threaded supply line rising through it. Mark the faucet's centre point first so the spout faces the tub, then mark the two supply holes either side of it.

Before installation, check that all components are present, make sure all supply lines are free of debris with supply stops installed, and confirm water pressure is between 20 and 125 PSI.
