It fits a standard 60" alcove with a lustrous high gloss white acrylic floor and a three-sided integrated tile flange.

Tier is a three-wall alcove base: a three-sided integrated tile flange runs along the back and both side walls, and the single threshold faces the room. ANZZI builds it from Rhino Alloy certified marine grade acrylic with fiberglass reinforcement, in a lustrous high gloss white finish that brightens the shower.

The integrated flange is 1.2" tall, so the wall finish laps over it and water runs back into the base, and the interior depth of up to 2.5" keeps water in the base and moving to the drain.

ANZZI states the base is cUPC certified, and at 5.5" overall height the base keeps the step into the shower moderate. The 60" length suits the alcove a bathtub leaves behind when it comes out, and because the flange is molded into the base there is no separate flange kit to fit before it goes against the studs.

Overall the base measures 60" W x 36" D x 5.5" H. The drain sits toward the left end, so the drain line under the floor must match that position. It is an alcove base: measure the framed opening stud to stud on all three walls before ordering, so the base sits snugly and the flange tucks behind the wall finish.

To choose a model, measure the depth of the alcove from the back wall to the front edge: SB-AZ03 is 32" deep and SB-AZ04 is 36", both 60" long, and each comes with a left, center or right drain so you can match the drain line you have. Whichever you choose, the flange, the high gloss finish and the interior depth are the same, and the drain assembly is sold separately.

Plan the rest of the shower around the base: you will need a drain assembly, sold separately, mortar and sealant for the install, and a sliding or hinged glass door, or an ANZZI wall surround to finish the space. Day to day the floor needs little more than a rinse and a wipe with a soft cloth after showering, and a wash with mild soap now and then keeps the surface bright; skip abrasive pads and scrapers, which dull the finish.

Tier suits a tub-to-shower conversion or a new 60" alcove shower in a family or primary bathroom, finished with a sliding glass door or a wall surround.

Features

Three-Sided Integrated Flange
A three-sided integrated tile flange suits a 3-wall alcove installation and keeps wall water inside the base.

Integrated 1.2" Tile Flange
The 1.2" flange lets tile or panels lap over it, sending water back into the base rather than behind the wall.

Up to 2.5" Interior Depth
An interior depth of up to 2.5" holds water in the base and moves it toward the drain.

Fiberglass-Reinforced Acrylic
Rhino Alloy certified marine grade acrylic with fiberglass reinforcement gives a rigid, glossy white floor.

cUPC Certified
ANZZI lists the base as cUPC certified, the plumbing listing most US and Canadian inspectors look for.

Left Drain
The drain sits toward the left end of the base, matched to a left-side drain line in the floor.

60" x 36" Footprint
Overall the base measures 60" W x 36" D x 5.5" H, so measure the framed alcove before ordering and allow for the wall finish over the flange.

Specifications

Model: SB-AZ04LD

Series: Tier

Dimensions: 60" W x 36" D x 5.5" H

Drain Location: Left

Material: Marine grade acrylic with fiberglass reinforcement, Rhino Alloy certified

Finish: High gloss white

Installation Type: 3-wall alcove, three-sided flange

Tile Flange: 1.2" integrated

Interior Depth: Up to 2.5"

Certification: cUPC

Warranty: Limited lifetime (register within 90 days)

What's Included

Tier shower base, 60" x 36"

Sold separately: Drain assembly

Installation & Care

Installation
Frame the alcove so the walls and subfloor are solid, plumb and square, as ANZZI's manual requires, and confirm the drain location before you start.
