A 35" wide, 76" tall framed glass enclosure with a sliding door, it closes in a compact shower with a full frame for sturdy support. Polished chrome is the bright mirror finish that matches most standard faucets and shower trims, so the door blends into an existing bathroom without a second metal finish.

Mare wraps its glass in an eye-catching full frame and opens on German engineered free floating rollers, so the door slides rather than swings in a tight bathroom and opens with an effortless push. When it closes, a magnetic watertight seal keeps the water inside the shower and off the bathroom floor.

The panels are crystal clear tempered Deco-Glass with pre-drilled hardware holes, made from ANSI certified tempered glass for safety and reliability, and ANZZI's dual sided Tsunami Guard coating repels water and helps prevent fogging, water stains, soap scum and limescale build-up.

ANZZI uses a marine grade aluminum alloy frame and zinc hardware that it rates highly rust resistant, with scratch-resistant Rhino Alloy certified hardware that protects against minor scratches and chips. The opening can be installed on either the left or the right side for design flexibility, and ANZZI's manual notes the enclosure is heavy and needs two people to install.

Measure the finished opening before you order: the SD-AZ050-01CH is 35" wide and stands 76" tall. Because the door slides along the opening, it needs no clearance in front of the shower, which makes it the practical choice beside a vanity, toilet or narrow walkway.

Mare is offered here in 2 finishes (brushed nickel and polished chrome), so you can match the glass to your space and your fixtures; the SD-AZ050-01CH is the 35" x 76" door in Polished Chrome.

The door is sold on its own, so it needs a finished shower base, tub or tiled threshold and finished, plumb walls to mount against. Day to day the glass takes very little work: squeegee or wipe it after the last shower of the day so drops do not dry into spots, and wash it with soap and hot water on a soft cloth when it needs more. Skipping abrasive pads and harsh cleaners protects both the glass coating and the polished chrome finish.

Mare suits a compact shower in a small bathroom, a basement bath or a guest suite where a framed sliding enclosure is the practical choice, in brushed nickel or polished chrome.

Features

Full Frame for Sturdy Support
An eye-catching full-framed design gives the glass sturdy support, a practical choice for a compact enclosure.

Free Floating Rollers
German engineered free floating rollers allow an effortless door opening experience, with no swing space needed.

Magnetic Water Seal
A magnetic watertight seal ensures water is kept inside the shower and off the bathroom floor.

Tsunami Guard Coating
The dual sided coating repels water and helps prevent fogging, water stains, soap scum and limescale on the tempered Deco-Glass.

Rust-Resistant Frame
A marine grade aluminum alloy frame and zinc hardware are rated highly rust resistant, with Rhino Alloy scratch resistance.

Polished Chrome Finish
The hardware is finished in polished chrome, the bright mirror finish that matches most standard faucets and shower trims.

35" x 76" Size
At 35" wide and 76" tall, the door is sized for a 35" opening, so measure the finished opening before ordering.

Specifications

Model: SD-AZ050-01CH

Series: Mare

Type: Framed shower enclosure

Overall Width: 35"

Height: 76"

Hardware Finish: Polished Chrome

Glass: Clear tempered Deco-Glass, ANSI certified, pre-drilled

Glass Coating: Tsunami Guard, dual sided

Frame and Hardware: Marine grade aluminum alloy frame, zinc hardware

Operation: Sliding, German engineered free floating rollers

Seal: Magnetic watertight seal

Reversible: Yes, left or right installation

Warranty: Limited lifetime (register within 90 days)

What's Included

Tempered Deco-Glass panels

Aluminum alloy frame, rails and rollers

Magnetic seals

Installation & Care

Installation
Fits a finished opening 35" wide and 76" tall, installed on a finished threshold between finished walls that are plumb and at right angles. Because the Tsunami Guard coating makes water bead and run off, a squeegee or soft-cloth wipe after each shower clears the drops before they dry into spots; skip scouring cleaners, bristle brushes and abrasive sponges, which can scratch the glass and its coating.
