It closes off a 56" to 60" alcove with a semi-frameless sliding door built around quiet, free floating rollers. Matte black draws a crisp dark outline around the glass and pairs naturally with black faucets, shower systems and grout lines in a modern or industrial bathroom.

Longboat is the slider to choose if a rattling door bothers you. ANZZI builds advanced noise-reduction technology into the sliding mechanism for smooth and silent door movement, and German engineered free floating rollers make the door effortless to open. Anti water seals cover the full length of each panel to help keep water in and off your bathroom floor.

The glass is crystal clear tempered Deco-Glass with pre-drilled hardware holes, made from ANSI certified tempered glass for safety and reliability, and ANZZI's dual sided Tsunami Guard coating helps prevent water stains, soap scum and limescale build-up.

An eye-catching semi-frameless design gives the panels sturdy support at the walls and rails while keeping the look light. The Rhino Alloy certified hardware is scratch resistant against minor scratches and chips, ANZZI rates it highly rust resistant, and the opening can be installed on either the left or the right side. ANZZI's manual calls for two people to install the door.

Measure the finished opening at the top and the bottom before you order: the SD-AZ055-01MB fits openings from 56" to 60" wide and stands 76" tall. Because the door slides along the opening, it needs no clearance in front of the shower, which makes it the practical choice beside a vanity, toilet or narrow walkway. ANZZI's installation manual calls for at least 1.8" of flat, level threshold for the glass to sit on, with plumb walls at right angles.

Longboat is offered here in 3 finishes (brushed nickel, polished chrome and matte black), so you can match the glass to your space and your fixtures; the SD-AZ055-01MB is the 56" to 60" door in Matte Black.

The door is sold on its own, so it needs a finished shower base, tub or tiled threshold and finished, plumb walls to mount against. Day to day the glass takes very little work: squeegee or wipe it after the last shower of the day so drops do not dry into spots, and wash it with soap and hot water on a soft cloth when it needs more. Skipping abrasive pads and harsh cleaners protects both the glass coating and the matte black finish.

Longboat suits a 60" alcove in a primary bath or a tub-replacement shower, and households with early risers or light sleepers where a quiet door matters, in matte black, brushed nickel or polished chrome. Because the Tsunami Guard coating makes water bead and run off, a squeegee or soft-cloth wipe after each shower clears the drops before they dry into spots; skip scouring cleaners, bristle brushes and abrasive sponges, which can scratch the glass and its coating.
