One fixed panel with a bold arched frame, it shields the room from spray in a walk-in shower with no door to open, close or clean around. Brushed gold gives the hardware a warm satin glow that suits gold or brass faucets, warm wood vanities and marble-look tile.

Ember is a walk-in screen rather than a door. A single 34" by 78" panel mounts to the wall and the threshold and leaves the other side of the shower open, so you walk straight in with no handle, no track and no swing clearance to plan around. The arched top of the frame adds an architectural curve that sets Ember apart from a plain rectangular screen.

ANZZI builds it with a stainless steel frame and 5/16" (8 mm) tempered glass, in clear or fluted. Clear glass keeps the tile and the light on show; fluted glass, with its ribbed texture, blurs the view for privacy while still letting light through. The water-repellent Tsunami Guard coating helps the glass resist water stains, lime scale and soap scum.

The corrosion-resistant stainless steel frame carries a stylish coating, and ANZZI states it resists rust, wear and daily moisture exposure. The panel installs on either the left or the right wall to fit your layout, and it ships with all mounting hardware and instructions for what ANZZI calls a DIY friendly setup.

The panel measures 34" wide and 78" tall. A fixed screen leaves one side of the shower open, so set it on the side where the shower head sprays: the glass catches the water and the opening stays dry. Allow enough floor beyond the screen for the spray pattern of your shower head. ANZZI's installation manual calls for at least 1" of flat, level threshold for the glass to sit on, with plumb walls at right angles. The panel mounts on the left or the right wall, so the screen can go on whichever side the shower head faces.

Ember is offered here in 3 finishes (brushed gold, brushed nickel and matte black) and a choice of clear glass and fluted glass, so you can match the glass to your space and your fixtures; the SD-AZ18-01BG-FL is the 34" x 78" screen in Brushed Gold.

A screen sits on a finished threshold or shower floor, so plan it with your base or curbless floor and your wall finish. Day to day the glass takes very little work: squeegee or wipe it after the last shower of the day so drops do not dry into spots, and wash it with soap and hot water on a soft cloth when it needs more. Skipping abrasive pads and harsh cleaners protects both the glass coating and the brushed gold finish.

Ember suits compact or open-layout bathrooms with a walk-in shower, as ANZZI puts it: a curbless or low-threshold shower, a primary bath with a tiled walk-in, or anyone who never wants to clean a door track again.

Features

Modern Arch Design
A bold arched frame adds a touch of architectural elegance and sets the screen apart from a square-topped panel.

Handle-Free Walk-In Entry
The open, handle-free design gives a spacious, clutter-free entry with nothing to open, close or swing.

5/16" (8 mm) Tempered Glass
Clear or fluted 5/16" (8 mm) tempered glass gives the screen strength and safety at full 78" height.

Tsunami Guard Coating
Water-repellent Tsunami Guard resists water stains, lime scale and soap scum, so a squeegee pass keeps it clear.

Rust-Resistant Stainless Frame
The corrosion-resistant stainless steel frame resists rust, wear and daily moisture in a steamy bathroom.

Brushed Gold Finish
The hardware is finished in brushed gold, a warm satin tone that pairs with gold or brass faucets and warm wood or marble-look finishes.

Fluted Glass
A ribbed, fluted texture softens the view into the shower for privacy, while still letting light reach the whole space.

34" x 78" Size
At 34" wide and 78" tall, the screen is sized for a 34" opening, so measure the finished opening before ordering.

Specifications

Model: SD-AZ18-01BG-FL

Series: Ember

Type: Framed arch fixed shower screen

Overall Width: 34"

Height: 78"

Glass Thickness: 5/16" (8 mm)

Glass Option: Fluted glass

Hardware Finish: Brushed Gold

Glass Coating: Tsunami Guard

Frame Material: Stainless steel, corrosion resistant

Frame Shape: Arched top

Entry: Open walk-in, handle free

Reversible: Yes, left or right installation

Minimum Threshold: 1" flat, level

Warranty: Limited lifetime (register within 90 days)

What's Included

Tempered 5/16" (8 mm) glass screen panel

Stainless steel arched frame

All mounting hardware and instructions

Installation & Care

Installation
Mount the 34" x 78" panel on a finished threshold against a finished, plumb wall, on the side the shower head sprays toward. Because the Tsunami Guard coating makes water bead and run off, a squeegee or soft-cloth wipe after each shower clears the drops before they dry into spots; skip scouring cleaners, bristle brushes and abrasive sponges, which can scratch the glass and its coating. Wipe the metal hardware dry with a soft cloth and keep ammonia, bleach and acid cleaners off the finish.

Resources

ANZZI SD-AZ18-01BG-FL specification sheet (PDF)PDF

ANZZI SD-AZ18-01BG-FL installation manual (PDF)PDF

Shipping, Returns & Warranty

<circle cx="5.5" cy="18.5" r="2.5"></circle><circle cx="18.5" cy="18.5" r="2.5"></circle>Shipping

ANZZI ships this item from the SW Corp warehouse by LTL freight with curbside delivery: the carrier contacts you to schedule the delivery, and you move the item from the curb to its final spot.
