A double-sided slider with an ultra-wide entrance, it closes gently on a soft-closing mechanism and uses thick 3/8" (10 mm) glass. Matte black draws a crisp dark outline around the glass and pairs naturally with black faucets, shower systems and grout lines in a modern or industrial bathroom.

Ward's door glides smoothly on both sides, so it opens from either direction for easy access and a graceful entry, and ANZZI describes the entrance as ultra-wide. A soft closure function brings the door to rest quietly and safely, and heavy-duty rollers with a reinforced frame keep the operation smooth while holding the door firmly in place.

The glass is thick, clear 3/8" (10 mm) tempered glass for strength and safety, and its water-repellent Tsunami Guard coating protects against water stains, lime scale and soap scum. The glass surface is made for simple maintenance, so soap scum and water spots wipe away easily.

The high-quality stainless steel frame resists rust, wear and daily moisture exposure, and the elegant finish gives the shower a refined, modern look. The panel is designed for left or right wall installation, and the door ships with all mounting hardware and instructions. ANZZI's manual asks for a stud behind the support bar and at least 2.7" of flat, level threshold.

Measure the finished opening at the top and the bottom before you order: the SD-AZ21-02MB fits openings from 56" to 60" wide and stands 76" tall. Because the door slides along the opening, it needs no clearance in front of the shower, which makes it the practical choice beside a vanity, toilet or narrow walkway.

Ward is offered here in 2 sizes (44" to 48" wide and 56" to 60" wide) and 4 finishes (brushed gold, brushed nickel, polished chrome and matte black), so you can match the glass to your space and your fixtures; the SD-AZ21-02MB is the 56" to 60" door in Matte Black.

The door is sold on its own, so it needs a finished shower base, tub or tiled threshold and finished, plumb walls to mount against. Day to day the glass takes very little work: squeegee or wipe it after the last shower of the day so drops do not dry into spots, and wash it with soap and hot water on a soft cloth when it needs more. Skipping abrasive pads and harsh cleaners protects both the glass coating and the matte black finish.

Ward suits a primary bath or a wide alcove where an easy, generous entry matters, including households helping an older parent in and out of the shower, in brushed gold, brushed nickel, polished chrome or matte black.

Features

Double-Sided Sliding
The door glides smoothly on both sides, offering easy access and a graceful entry from either direction.

Soft Closure Function
A smooth, gentle closing mechanism ensures the door glides shut quietly and safely, with no slam at the end of its travel.

3/8" (10 mm) Clear Glass
Thick, clear 3/8" (10 mm) tempered glass gives strength and safety and a substantial frameless feel.

Tsunami Guard Protection
Water-repellent Tsunami Guard coated glass protects against water stains, lime scale and soap scum, so spots wipe away easily.

Stainless Steel Frame
The high-quality stainless steel frame resists rust, wear and daily moisture exposure in a steamy bathroom.

Heavy-Duty Rollers
Heavy-duty rollers and a reinforced frame ensure smooth operation while keeping the door firmly in place.

Matte Black Finish
The hardware is finished in matte black, a low-sheen dark tone that frames the glass in a crisp outline and suits black fixtures and modern tile.

Fits 56" to 60" Openings
The door adjusts across openings from 56" to 60" wide at 76" tall, so it can absorb small differences in wall-to-wall width.

Specifications

Model: SD-AZ21-02MB

Series: Ward

Type: Frameless sliding shower door

Opening Width Range: 56" to 60"

Overall Width: 60"

Height: 76"

Glass Thickness: 3/8" (10 mm)

Hardware Finish: Matte Black

Glass: Tempered, clear

Glass Coating: Tsunami Guard

Frame Material: Stainless steel

Operation: Double-sided sliding, soft closure, heavy-duty rollers

Reversible: Yes, left or right installation

Minimum Threshold: 2.7" flat, level

Warranty: Limited lifetime (register within 90 days)

What's Included

Tempered 3/8" glass panels

Stainless steel frame, rails and rollers

All mounting hardware and instructions

Installation & Care

Installation
Fits a finished opening from 56" to 60" wide and 76" tall, installed on a finished threshold between finished walls that are plumb and at right angles. Because the Tsunami Guard coating makes water bead and run off, a squeegee or soft-cloth wipe after each shower clears the drops before they dry into spots; skip scouring cleaners, bristle brushes and abrasive sponges, which can scratch the glass and its coating.
