l-az026
ANZZI L-AZ026 Tempo Modern Tub and Shower Faucet Set in Polished Chrome

The ANZZI L-AZ026 is a Tempo modern tub and shower faucet set in polished chrome: a large Heavy Rain showerhead, a wall tub spout and a single-handle mixing valve with diverter. It is one set for a tub-shower combination, with the showerhead, tub spout and valve together.

A 16.3" Rain Head Over the Tub

The 16.3" Heavy Rain showerhead provides a powerful and deeply refreshing full body shower at a flow rate of 1.8 GPM. Below it, the tub spout reaches 6.81" from the wall to fill the bath.

One lever controls flow and temperature together, and a separate diverter knob on the trim plate sends water to the showerhead or the spout. The deceptively simple single handle design keeps a fine minimalist aesthetic to match with any modern or contemporary decor style.

Planning the Wall

The Tempo is built from lead-free RHINO ALLOY certified brass under a rust resistant polished chrome finish, an all-metal combination of materials. The install guide lists it to ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1, and the Tempo is cUPC certified and listed for North America. The valve body includes a check valve.

In use, you run the bath from the 6.81" spout, or turn the diverter knob to send the water up to the 16.3" head. The set is a modern European inspired design brought to life through precision German engineering.

ANZZI's install guide takes the job in order. Remove the first protective covers, but leave the last one on until it sits flush with the finished wall, then remove the two screws and that cover. Connect the hot and cold supply lines to their own sides of the valve, run the water for 1 to 2 minutes and confirm there are no leaks. Wrap Teflon tape on the shower arm, fit its flange and screw on the head with the O-ring between arm and head. The trim plate goes over the valve with its screws, the diverter knob screws on, and the handle slides onto the mixing valve and turns clockwise to lock. For the spout, tape the supply pipe, fix the spout flange to the back of the spout body with its two set screws and turn the spout on clockwise until it sits upright.

The L-AZ026 arrives with the shower arm and flange, showerhead, valve body and cartridge, trim plate, handle, diverter knob and spout. The Tempo comes in polished chrome (L-AZ026) and brushed nickel (L-AZ026BN). ANZZI's other wall-mounted shower sets include the Viace (SH-AZ041, SH-AZ041BN, SH-AZ041ORB) and Thyme (SH-AZ030) shower-only sets, and the Spirito (SH-AZ040), Mezzo (SH-AZ037, SH-AZ037MK, SH-AZ039), Meno (SH-AZ032, SH-AZ032BN) and Mesto (SH-AZ034, SH-AZ035) tub and shower sets.

For a tub-shower remodel, the L-AZ026 is an ANZZI tub and shower faucet set with a 16.3" Heavy Rain showerhead, one lever and a diverter, in polished chrome.

Features

16.3" Heavy Rain Showerhead
The 16.3" Heavy Rain head gives a powerful and deeply refreshing full body shower above a 6.81" reach tub spout.

1.8 GPM Flow
The Tempo flows at 1.8 GPM, and a diverter knob on the trim plate switches the water between the showerhead and the tub spout.

6.81" Reach Tub Spout
The spout projects 6.81" from the wall and mounts over its own flange with two set screws, turned on until it sits upright.

Single Lever With Diverter
One lever mixes flow and temperature and a diverter knob switches between shower and tub, all on a single trim plate.

Certified Lead-Free Brass
Lead-free RHINO ALLOY certified brass is listed to ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1 and cUPC certified and listed for North America.

Matched Tub and Shower Set
Arm, flange, head, valve body, trim, handle, diverter and spout come together in one finish.

Specifications

Model: L-AZ026

Showerhead Diameter: 16.3"

Spout Reach: 6.81"

Material: Lead-free RHINO ALLOY certified brass

Finish: Polished Chrome

Installation: Wall mount, tub and shower

Handle: Single lever with separate diverter knob

Showerhead: Heavy Rain

Flow Rate: 1.8 GPM

Certifications: cUPC; ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1

Series: Tempo

Warranty: Limited lifetime (register within 90 days)

What's Included

L-AZ026 Heavy Rain showerhead, shower arm and flange

Valve body with cartridge, check valves and cartridge locknut

Trim plate, lever handle and diverter knob

Tub spout with flange, aerator and set screws

O-rings, screws and protective covers

Installation & Care

Installation
Wall mounted: plumb the valve body into the wall with hot and cold supplies on their own sides, keeping the last protective cover on until it is flush with the finished wall.
