Its stylish curves and versatile design fit seamlessly into a variety of kitchen styles, for a homeowner pairing a Nantucket sink with a matching satin stainless faucet.

Blending modern elegance with everyday convenience, the faucet pairs a clean arched spout with a sleek single-handle design. The arched spout rises high and reaches well over the sink, high enough to fill a stockpot and to clear tall pans while rinsing, and the pull-down spray head comes down into the bowl on its hose for rinsing dishes and the corners of the sink, then returns to the spout when you let go.

The single lever controls both flow and temperature, and the ceramic disc cartridge inside gives smooth, precise control; the installation guide notes a temperature limiter that can be set. Nantucket lists the faucet as CSA certified and California Title 20 compliant, with what it calls full code compliance, and it is made in Italy.

Planning the KFPD16BRS Installation

Plan the faucet with the sink. The KFPD16BRS is a single hole, deck-mounted faucet on a 2" base, so it needs one hole in the sink deck or the countertop, and Nantucket's installation guide gives a maximum deck thickness of 45 mm (about 1.75"). Nantucket's sinks with no faucet holes, such as its Pro Series undermount and farmhouse sinks, take a faucet drilled through the countertop behind the bowl. Nantucket recommends professional installation, and the installation guide is in Resources.

Nantucket's spec sheet describes heavy solid brass construction under the brushed stainless finish and a design that meets or exceeds all state code compliance laws. The single metal lever handle and the cartridge valve are included. Nantucket rates the flow at 1.75 gallons per minute and lists the faucet as CSA approved.

The faucet is made in Italy and finished in brushed stainless, which Nantucket describes as gleaming satin stainless steel, lustrous and timeless. Care is simple: clean it by hand with a brush or sponge and soap or Bar Keepers Friend, rinse with water and wipe it down with a clean cloth, drying every finish well, as the installation guide stresses.

The KFPD16BRS weighs 7 lbs.
