Nantucket's site describes this version as finished in classic glossy black, a dramatic take on the Victorian shape for a powder room or a bath with black fixtures, with the same widespread faucet deck as the white model.

This sink has an elegantly designed backsplash and a deck drilled for an 8" spread faucet, with 3 faucet holes on 8" centers, and the 15.75" x 9.75" bowl is 5.75" deep. An integral overflow guards against a spill, and the 1.75" rear drain opening takes a standard bathroom overflow drain.

It is crafted in Italy from genuine fine fireclay and finished in a high-gloss porcelain enamel glaze that is durable and scratch resistant. Because fireclay is fired in a kiln, the listed dimensions may vary from actual by up to 1/4". Overall the sink is 19.5" x 17.75" x 13.5" and weighs 42 lbs, and wall mounting hardware is included.

Hung on the wall, the sink leaves the floor clear, a space saver that suits a bath, a powder room or even a laundry room. The drain is sold separately, so its finish can match the faucet you choose.

Installing the NS-VCDM20

Nantucket recommends professional installation, and both colorways can also be placed in a stand or cabinet instead of on the wall. For the white and black version, Nantucket also lists the NS-UDORB-OF oil rubbed bronze overflow drain.

Old is new again, as Nantucket puts it: the Victorian Collection takes bathroom sink looks from the 1830s and reinvents them for modern homes in Italian fireclay. It includes the petite NS-VCDM14-WW, the 20" class NS-VCDM20 in white or white and black, and the 16.5" NS-VC16 wall-mount sets that come with a matching faucet and drain in polished chrome, satin brushed brass or matte black.

Caring for Italian Fireclay

Fireclay is low maintenance: it contains no metal, so Nantucket's care guide calls it stain resistant and rust proof. Clean the NS-VCDM20-WW or NS-VCDM20-BLKW with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge, rinse, and dry the bowl with a cloth in hard water areas to prevent spotting. Baking soda helps lift stuck-on residue, and a periodic coat of carnauba wax protects the glaze and helps water run off faster.

The NS-VCDM20-BLKW is the Nantucket Sinks 20" class Victorian fireclay bathroom sink in a white and black colorway, a more dramatic take on the same vintage shape.

Features

White and Black Colorway
The NS-VCDM20-BLKW is the white and black version of the 20" class Victorian sink, which Nantucket's site describes as finished in classic glossy black.

8" Widespread Faucet Deck
Three pre-drilled holes on 8" centers take a widespread two-handle faucet; a matte black or oil rubbed bronze overflow drain suits the darker colorway.

Genuine Italian Fireclay
Crafted in Italy from genuine fine fireclay, the sink is durable and scratch resistant, and fireclay contains no metal, so it is stain resistant and rust proof.

High-Shine Glazed Fireclay
The glazed fireclay has a high shine that resists scratches and stains, and it wipes clean with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth.

Integral Overflow
A built-in overflow guards against an accidental fill to the rim, and the sink takes a standard bathroom drain made for overflow sinks.

Wall, Cabinet or Stand
Mounting hardware is included for a space-saving wall installation, and the sink can also sit within a cabinet or on a base stand.

Specifications

Model: NS-VCDM20-BLKW

Collection: Victorian Collection

Material: Fireclay

Finish: Glazed

Color: White/Black

Mount: Wall-mount

Bowls: Single

Shape: Irregular

Exterior Dimensions: 19.5" x 17.75" x 13.5"

Interior Dimensions: 15.75" x 9.75" x 5.75"

Bowl Depth: 5.75"

Faucet Holes: 3

Overflow: Yes

Drain Opening: 1.75"

Drain Position: Rear

Drain Included: No

Faucet Hole Spacing: 8" centers

Mounting Hardware: Included

Weight: 42 lbs

Country of Origin: Italy

Warranty: 5-year limited

What's Included

NS-VCDM20-BLKW fireclay wall-mount sink

Mounting hardware

Sold separately: 1.75" bathroom drain with overflow (NS-UDMB-OF matte black, NS-UDBN-OF brushed nickel, NS-UDC-OF chrome or NS-UDORB-OF oil rubbed bronze), widespread faucet.

Installation & Care

Installation
This wall-mount fireclay sink hangs on the included mounting hardware, and it can also be installed within a cabinet or on a base stand.
