It is the drain to choose for a fireclay farmhouse or workstation sink, where a standard-length drain may not reach through the ceramic, and it includes a basket strainer.

Nantucket notes that fireclay sinks have a thicker basin bottom, so the drain body has to be longer to pass through it. This drain is designed with fireclay sinks in mind: it has an extra long ferrule that accommodates the thicker basin bottom, so it seats and seals properly in a fireclay bowl.

Made with stainless steel in a brushed satin finish, it has a basket strainer that lets small food waste be collected and thrown away instead of washing into the plumbing.
