The platinum shows well against the white fireclay, giving a classic bath a refined metallic detail that pairs with chrome and nickel fixtures.

A semi-recessed sink sits lower than a full vessel, which keeps the rim at a comfortable height on a standard vanity while still showing off its sides; pair it with a deck faucet set at least 5" behind the bowl or a wall-mount faucet. Because the cutout is traced from the base of the actual sink, the opening is sized to the piece you receive, which matters with hand-finished pieces. The Regatta Collection, inspired by famous ports, lakes and seaside towns, runs from matte concrete, white and black glazes to metal-leaf and hand-painted pieces, so a powder room and a primary bath can share one collection in different looks.

Every Regatta sink is genuine fireclay, designed and hand finished in Italy and fired at high temperatures, which Nantucket says makes it stronger than typical bathroom sinks. Dimensions are nominal and can vary by about 1/4" from piece to piece, and the bowl takes a standard 1.75" vanity drain (not included).

The round sink is 17.75" across and 6.375" tall overall but only 2.625" above the counter, because the 9.25" diameter recessed bowl, 5" deep, sits in the vanity top below a 17.5" upper rim; the graceful sloping inner basin makes it a design feature that is also durable.

Planning the Vanity

Planning a vanity around it is straightforward. It has no faucet holes, so the faucet goes on the countertop or the wall, and the drain opening takes a vanity drain without overflow made for the 1.75" opening, sold separately, which Nantucket offers as matching umbrella pop-up drains in several finishes. At 21 lbs, the sink is set on the counter or in its cutout with plumbing silicone, and professional installation is recommended.

Caring for Hand-Finished Fireclay

Each Regatta sink is hand finished in Italy, so look after it gently: Nantucket asks for pH neutral soap and a soft cloth only, no abrasive cleansers or pads, and no improper or caustic cleansers, which can damage the glaze. Fired fireclay will not rust.

For a bathroom or powder room that wants an Italian fireclay bathroom sink with real craftsmanship, the Nantucket Sinks RC77240P turns the vanity into a focal point while staying practical for daily hand washing.

Features

Hand-Painted Platinum Exterior
The exterior is accented in genuine platinum leaf painted by hand in Italy, so the silvery detail has real depth.

White and Platinum Contrast
The platinum shows well against the white fireclay, a cool, elegant pairing for chrome, nickel or polished fixtures.

Low 2.625" Above the Counter
Set semi-recessed, the sink rises only 2.625" above the counter, so it reads like a vessel without raising the rim too high.

Sloping Inner Basin
The graceful slope from the 17.5" upper rim into the 9.25" recessed bowl guides water to the drain and gives the sink its sculptural look.

Hand Finished in Italy
Each Regatta sink is genuine fireclay, designed and finished by hand in Italy, so small variations make every piece unique.

Standard 1.75" Vanity Drain
The center opening takes a standard 1.75" bathroom drain without overflow, so matching pop-up drains in several finishes fit; the drain is sold separately.

Specifications

Model: RC77240P

Collection: Regatta Collection

Material: Fireclay

Finish: Glazed

Color: White/Platinum

Mount: Top-mount

Sink Type: Semi-recessed vessel

Bowls: Single

Shape: Round

Exterior Dimensions: 17.75" Diameter x 6.375"

Interior Dimensions: 17.5" upper rim, 9.25" Diameter recessed bowl

Bowl Depth: 5"

Faucet Holes: None

Overflow: No

Drain Opening: 1.75"

Drain Position: Center

Drain Included: No

Weight: 21 lbs

Country of Origin: Italy

Warranty: 5-year limited

California Prop 65: Warning: contains Lead, chemicals listed under California Proposition 65. Nantucket's warranty excludes a semi-recessed installation in a wood countertop, so use stone or another solid surface.
