It fits a 30" base cabinet and keeps a deep, generous basin.

The bowl slopes gently and tapers to the bottom of the basin, so water runs to the center 3.5" drain, and the top edge of the sink is finished in white porcelain enamel glaze, which means it can be reveal mounted with the glazed rim showing below the countertop edge. A bottom grid and a stainless steel finish drain are included.

Fireclay is a natural material that needs fewer cleansers. Dimensions are nominal, varying about 1/4", which is why the countertop cutout is taken from the actual sink.

The Wellfleet range also includes the 34.25" Wellfleet-3419 in white, matte black and concrete, the 60/40 Wellfleet-31OSW double bowl, and the 18" square Wellfleet-1818 for an island, so a whole kitchen can share one apronless fireclay look.

Fit, Mounting and Plumbing

Because it is an undermount fireclay sink rather than an apron front, it can sit on a standard cabinet: it needs a base cabinet of at least 30", a 2x4 support frame inside to carry its weight (69 lbs), and room behind it for the faucet (it has no faucet holes, so the faucet goes on the countertop or the wall). The drain opening takes a standard kitchen drain. Nantucket's Wellfleet installation guide has the support frame built from 2x4s and the countertop opening cut from the actual sink; the counter can overhang the sink or reveal its rim.

Caring for Fireclay

Fireclay is fired at high temperature under a glaze that lets food stains wipe away and will not rust. Day to day it needs only a mild cleaner and a soft cloth; Nantucket suggests baking soda for stuck-on food, Soft Scrub or a Scotch-Brite sponge for a rare mark, and a little carnauba wax now and then. Nantucket's fireclay care guide calls the material easy and low maintenance, and in hard water areas a quick dry with a cloth prevents spotting.

Whether it is the main sink or a second prep or bar sink, the Nantucket Sinks Wellfleet-2719W brings the look and easy care of a fireclay kitchen sink to a kitchen that wants a clean, apronless profile.

Features

Medium 23.75" Bowl
The 23.75" x 16" basin, measured at the top, is 9.25" deep, generous for a 27" x 19" sink and comfortable for daily dishes.

Fits a 30" Cabinet
With a 30" minimum base cabinet, it suits smaller kitchens, islands and secondary prep areas where a 33" sink will not fit.

Glazed Rim for Reveal Mount
The top edge is glazed, so the countertop can be cut back to reveal the white rim, or overhang it, whichever look the kitchen calls for.

Grid and Drain Included
The compatible bottom grid and a stainless steel finish drain ship with the sink, protecting the glaze from pots from day one.

Sloped, Tapered Basin
The bowl slopes and tapers gently to the bottom, so water drains to the center and the basin rinses clean.

Rust-Proof Glazed Fireclay
Glazed fireclay contains no metal, so it will not rust, and food stains wipe from the glaze with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth.

Specifications

Model: Wellfleet-2719W

Collection: Cape Collection

Material: Fireclay

Finish: Porcelain Enamel Glaze

Color: White

Mount: Undermount

Bowls: Single

Shape: Rectangle

Exterior Dimensions: 27" x 19" x 10"

Interior Dimensions: 23.75" x 16" x 9.25" (at top of basin)

Bowl Depth: 9.25"

Faucet Holes: None

Overflow: No

Drain Opening: 3.5"

Drain Position: Center

Drain Included: Yes

Minimum Cabinet: 30"

Bottom Grid: Included (not sold separately)

Template: Not included (cut from the sink)

Weight: 69 lbs

Country of Origin: Turkey

Warranty: 5-year limited

California Prop 65: Warning: contains Lead, Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP), Nickel Compounds, chemicals listed under California Proposition 65. Following Nantucket's Wellfleet guide, the installer builds a 2x4 support frame in the cabinet to carry the sink, takes the countertop cutout from the actual sink (no template is included), and lets the counter overhang the sink or reveal its glazed rim. Mounting hardware is not included, and Nantucket specifies professional installation only. The sink weighs 69 lbs. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the counter; the 3.5" center drain opening takes the included drain. The Wellfleet installation guide is in Resources.

Care
Clean the fireclay regularly with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge, then rinse; in hard water areas, dry it with a cloth to prevent spotting. Soak stuck-on food to loosen it, using baking soda if needed, and lift a rare surface stain with Soft Scrub or a Scotch-Brite sponge. An occasional coat of carnauba wax adds protection and helps water run off. Fireclay contains no metal, so it will not rust. Fireclay is stain resistant and low maintenance, and the drain should never be over-tightened.

Resources

<div data-mcs-res="v1"
