sb-az011wo
ANZZI SB-AZ011WO Fissure 48" x 36" Single Threshold Shower Pan with Square Drain Cover

The ANZZI SB-AZ011WO is the 48" x 36" Fissure Series single threshold acrylic shower base with a center drain, with a square drain finish. A 48" x 36" alcove floor in modern rectangular acrylic, it is engineered to pair with ANZZI's SW-AZ011WH shower wall surround.

ANZZI built Fissure as the foundation for a modern shower enclosure. It is crafted from high-end acrylic, Rhino Alloy certified marine grade in a bright, vibrant white, and molded into a sturdy contemporary rectangular shape that matches today's popular decor. ANZZI engineers it for efficient drainage, and an integrated slip-resistant texture gives a safe and secure foothold.

A three-sided flange suits alcove installation, and the center drain comes with a matching square drain cover, so the floor looks finished once the drain is fitted. The 48" x 36" x 3.5" footprint suits a smaller bathroom or a stand-alone shower where a 60" base will not fit.

Fissure is engineered to pair with ANZZI's shower wall collection, SW-AZ011WH, for a base and surround that fit together. The surface is scratch resilient and easy to clean, and ANZZI states the base is cUPC certified.

Overall the base measures 48" L x 36" W x 3.5" H. The center drain sits mid-floor, the usual position when you are replacing an existing center-drain pan. It is an alcove base: measure the framed opening stud to stud on all three walls before ordering, so the base sits snugly and the flange tucks behind the wall finish.

If your bathroom cannot spare a 60" shower, a 48" length is the step down that still leaves a comfortable standing area, and the 36" depth matches ANZZI's 48" x 36" Forum surround (SW-AZ011WH), so the walls stand straight on the base. ANZZI sells the drain assembly separately, so choose one that suits your waste line and the base's drain opening.

Plan the rest of the shower around the base: you will need a drain assembly, sold separately, mortar and sealant for the install, and a sliding or hinged glass door, or an ANZZI wall surround to finish the space. Day to day the floor needs little more than a rinse and a wipe with a soft cloth after showering, and a wash with mild soap now and then keeps the surface bright; skip abrasive pads and scrapers, which dull the finish.

Fissure suits a compact alcove shower in a guest bath, a basement bath or a smaller primary bathroom, and a matched DIY-friendly install with ANZZI's Forum 48" wall surround.

Features

Compact 48" x 36" Footprint
At 48" L x 36" W x 3.5" H, the base fits a smaller alcove where a 60" base will not.

Center Drain, Matching Square Cover
The center drain comes with a matching square drain cover for a finished, coordinated floor.

Marine Grade Acrylic
Rhino Alloy certified marine grade acrylic in bright white is easy to handle, scratch resilient and easy to clean.

Slip-Resistant Texture
An integrated slip-resistant texture gives a safe and secure foothold on a wet floor.

Pairs With SW-AZ011WH
Fissure is engineered to pair with ANZZI's SW-AZ011WH wall surround for a matched alcove shower.

Center Drain
The center drain sits mid-floor, the common position when replacing an existing center-drain shower pan.

Square Drain Finish
The square drain finish sets the look of the drain in the floor, so pick it to echo the square lines of your other fixtures.

Specifications

Model: SB-AZ011WO

Series: Fissure

Dimensions: 48" L x 36" W x 3.5" H

Drain Location: Center

Drain Finish: Square

Material: Marine grade acrylic, Rhino Alloy certified

Color: White

Installation Type: Alcove, three-sided flange

Threshold: Single threshold

Drain Cover: Matching square cover

Certification: cUPC

Pairs With: SW-AZ011WH wall surround

Warranty: Limited lifetime (register within 90 days)

What's Included

Fissure shower base, 48" x 36"

Matching drain cover

Sold separately: Drain assembly

Installation & Care

Installation
Frame the alcove so the walls and subfloor are solid, plumb and square, as ANZZI's manual requires, and confirm the drain location before you start. The drain assembly is sold separately: the manual calls for a 2" PVC waste pipe, a drain cutout no larger than 5" in diameter (a 5" x 5" opening in the subfloor) and a sealant or gasket at the drain, never plumber's putty, which degrades the base. Let the base reach room temperature for 30 minutes, set it level in two directions on a bed of thick mortar, fasten the flange to the studs with gaps under 1/8" (shim where needed), and wait 24 hours before using the shower.
