sb-az012wl
ANZZI SB-AZ012WL Field Base 36" L x 60" W Corner Shower Shower Pan Base with Left Drain in Glossy White Marine Acrylic

The ANZZI SB-AZ012WL is the 60" x 36" Field Base Series corner shower base with a left drain. Built for a corner shower, it gives a 60" wide space a glossy white acrylic floor with an integrated tile flange on two sides.

ANZZI shower bases are known for durable resilience, and the Field Base is built from Rhino Alloy certified materials: marine grade acrylic and high yield fiberglass in a bright, vibrant white finish. The glossy, evenly coated surface is the eye-catcher that brightens a corner shower, and ANZZI rates it scratch resilient and easy to clean.

The base is designed for corner style installation with an integrated 1" tile flange, so the wall finish laps over the flange and water runs back into the base rather than behind the wall. The slip resistant textured flooring gives secure footing, and the low 3.5" height keeps the step in modest.

ANZZI states the base is cUPC certified, and the drain assembly is not included, so you can choose a drain to match your fixtures.

Overall the base measures 60" W x 36" L x 3.5" H. The drain sits toward the left end, so the drain line under the floor must match that position. It is a corner base: the flange runs along the two walls of the corner, and the open sides take a corner glass enclosure, so measure both walls of the corner before ordering.

Corner bases suit bathrooms where the shower sits in a corner rather than a three-wall alcove: the two flanged sides go against the walls and the two open sides take glass, so the shower feels open to the room. At 60" x 36" the Field Base gives a generous standing area, more than ANZZI's 36" and 48" corner bases, and its left or right drain lets you match the plumbing in the floor.

Field Base is offered here in left and right drain positions, so you can match the base to your space and your fixtures; the SB-AZ012WL is the 60" x 36" with the left drain.

Plan the rest of the shower around the base: you will need a drain assembly, sold separately, mortar and sealant for the install, and a corner glass enclosure or wall surround to finish the space. Day to day the floor needs little more than a rinse and a wipe with a soft cloth after showering, and a wash with mild soap now and then keeps the surface bright; skip abrasive pads and scrapers, which dull the finish.

Field Base suits a corner shower in a primary or guest bathroom where a 60" x 36" footprint fits along two walls, and a remodel that will finish the walls in tile or panels over the integrated flange.

Features

Marine Grade Acrylic and Fiberglass
Rhino Alloy certified marine grade acrylic and high yield fiberglass give a durable, glossy white base.

Integrated 1" Tile Flange
The corner style integrated 1" tile flange lets the wall finish lap over it, sending wall water back into the base.

Slip Resistant Flooring
Slip resistant textured flooring gives secure footing on a wet, soapy floor, for children and adults alike.

Scratch Resilient Surface
The scratch resilient surface is easy to clean and keeps its glossy, evenly coated finish.

cUPC Certified
ANZZI lists the base as cUPC certified, the plumbing listing inspectors look for in the US and Canada.

Left Drain
The drain sits toward the left end of the base, matched to a left-side drain line in the floor.

60" x 36" Footprint
Overall the base measures 60" W x 36" L x 3.5" H, so measure the framed corner before ordering and allow for the wall finish over the flange.

Specifications

Model: SB-AZ012WL

Series: Field Base

Dimensions: 60" W x 36" L x 3.5" H

Drain Location: Left

Material: Marine grade acrylic and high yield fiberglass, Rhino Alloy certified

Color: White

Installation Type: Corner

Tile Flange: 1" integrated

Certification: cUPC

Warranty: Limited lifetime (register within 90 days)

What's Included

Field Base shower base, 60" x 36"

Sold separately: Drain assembly

Installation & Care

Installation
Frame the corner so the walls and subfloor are solid, plumb and square, as ANZZI's manual requires, and confirm the drain location before you start. Let the base reach room temperature for 30 minutes, set it level in two directions on a bed of thick mortar, fasten the flange to the studs with gaps under 1/8" (shim where needed), and wait 24 hours before using the shower.
