sh-az040
ANZZI SH-AZ040 Spirito Series Single Handle Wall Mounted Showerhead and Bath Faucet Set in Polished Chrome

The ANZZI SH-AZ040 is a Spirito Series single-handle wall-mounted showerhead and bath faucet set in polished chrome: a Heavy Rain showerhead, a tub spout, a mixing valve with diverter and the trim to finish it. It is one set for a tub-shower combination, with the showerhead, tub spout and valve together.

Rain Overhead, Spout Below

Overhead, the 7.99" Heavy Rain showerhead gives a powerful and deeply refreshing full body shower at a flow rate of 1.8 GPM. Below it, the wall spout reaches 5" out from the tiled wall to fill the tub.

One lever handle on the trim plate sets the flow and the temperature together, and a separate diverter knob sends the water to the showerhead or the tub spout. The deceptively simple single handle design gives complete and easy control of both water flow and temperature, while keeping a minimalist look on the wall.

One Box, One Finish

The valve is built from lead-free RHINO ALLOY certified brass with ANZZI's rust resistant polished chrome finish, and the water is controlled by a marine grade ceramic disc valve. ANZZI's install guide lists the set to ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1, and the Spirito is cUPC certified and listed for North America. The valve body includes a check valve.

In a tub-shower combination the routine is simple: set the temperature with the lever while the water runs from the 5" tub spout, then turn the diverter knob to send it up to the 7.99" showerhead once it is warm. One lever sets the temperature for both the showerhead and the tub spout, and a diverter knob switches between them.

ANZZI's install guide sets out the job in order. The valve's protective cover stays on until it sits flush with the finished wall; the hot and cold supply lines connect to their own sides of the valve; the water then runs for 1 to 2 minutes so every connection can be checked. Teflon tape goes on the shower arm and on the spout connector, the spout flange goes on before the spout is screwed on, and two set screws secure the spout. The guide recommends a screwdriver, channel locks, an adjustable wrench, an Allen key, goggles and Teflon tape.

Because the set arrives with the shower arm, flange, showerhead, valve body, cartridge, trim plate, handle, diverter knob and spout, the SH-AZ040 covers a complete tub and shower trim-out in one box. The design is modern and European inspired, brought to life through precision German engineering. ANZZI's other wall-mounted tub and shower sets include the Tempo (L-AZ026, L-AZ026BN), Mezzo (SH-AZ037, SH-AZ037MK, SH-AZ039), Meno (SH-AZ032, SH-AZ032BN) and Mesto (SH-AZ034, SH-AZ035).

For a tub-shower, the SH-AZ040 is an ANZZI wall-mounted tub and shower faucet set that combines a 7.99" Heavy Rain showerhead and a tub spout with one lever and a diverter, all in polished chrome.

Features

7.99" Heavy Rain Showerhead
The 7.99" Heavy Rain head, mounted on the included shower arm and flange, gives a powerful and deeply refreshing full body shower.

1.8 GPM Flow Rate
The set flows at 1.8 GPM through the showerhead, and a diverter knob switches the water to the 5" reach tub spout.

Single Lever, Separate Diverter
One lever mixes flow and temperature and a diverter knob switches between showerhead and tub spout, all on one trim plate.

5" Reach Tub Spout
The wall spout projects 5" from the finished wall, and it is secured with two set screws over its own flange.

Ceramic Disc Valve
A marine grade quality ceramic disk valve controls the water, the valve ANZZI fits to the Spirito set.

Certified Lead-Free Brass
Lead-free RHINO ALLOY certified brass is listed to ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1 and cUPC certified and listed for North America.

Complete Trim-Out Set
Shower arm, flange, head, valve body with cartridge, trim plate, handle, diverter knob and spout all come together in one set.

Specifications

Model: SH-AZ040

Showerhead Diameter: 7.99"

Spout Reach: 5"

Material: Lead-free RHINO ALLOY certified brass

Finish: Polished Chrome

Installation: Wall mount, tub and shower

Handle: Single lever with separate diverter knob

Showerhead: Heavy Rain

Flow Rate: 1.8 GPM

Valve: Marine grade ceramic disc

Certifications: cUPC; ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1

Series: Spirito

Warranty: Limited lifetime (register within 90 days)

What's Included

SH-AZ040 Heavy Rain showerhead, shower arm and flange

Valve body with cartridge, check valves and cartridge locknut

Trim plate, lever handle, diverter knob and index

Tub spout with flange, connector and aerator

Allen key, screws, O-rings and protective covers

Installation & Care

Installation
Wall mounted: the valve body is plumbed into the wall with the hot and cold supplies connected to their own sides.
