sp-ss0002-1p
SteamSpa SP-SS0002-1P 1-Person 1050 W Portable Infrared Sauna with Digital Controller and Folding Chair in Brown

The SteamSpa SP-SS0002-1P is a 1-person portable infrared sauna in brown: a zip-up insulated tent with a 1050 W infrared heating panel, an infrared foot heating pad and a folding chair, that plugs into a standard 120V outlet. It is for anyone who wants a private dry-heat session at home without building a sauna room, in an apartment, a spare room or a home gym, and who wants to fold it away afterwards.

You sit in the folding chair with your head out of the top, zip the tent closed and let the panel warm the space to the temperature you choose, up to 140°F. A separate foot pad warms your feet on low, medium or high, a foot massage roller sits under your soles, and zippered hand openings let you hold a book or your phone during the session.

A handheld controller sets the temperature and a timer from 0 to 60 minutes; when the time is up the heating turns itself off. SteamSpa recommends sessions of 30 minutes or less, no more than 3 times a week.

The tent is a waterproof thermal insulation fabric over a PP frame that holds the heat in and wipes clean. Set up, it measures 31.49" W x 33.07" D x 40.55" H outside and 30.7" W x 32.3" D x 39.8" H inside, and it folds flat for a closet or for travel. The unit is ETL certified, with a 6.5' power cord.

Setting Up and Using It

Setup takes minutes and no tools: unfold the tent on a level floor, lay the absorbent mat and the foot pad with its footprint side up, set the chair in place off the pad, and plug in only once everything is assembled. The controller's FOOT key shows the pad's level with its light: off for no heat, a slow flash for low, a quick flash for medium and steady for high.

For the quickest warm-up, close the zipper fully and cover the neck opening while the tent heats, and use it in a room that is not cold. Afterwards, unzip it to let the heat out, dry the mat, wipe the inside with a damp cloth and fold it away; the fabric does not need washing.

Choosing Your Portable Sauna

It shares its 1050 W panel, controller and chair with the SP-SS0001-1P in blue, a little more compact at 37.79" tall, so the choice comes down to color and how much room you have. SteamSpa's steam models, the SP-SS0003-1P and SP-SS0004-1P, use a 900 W steamer for wet heat instead.

For a dry-heat session that fits a small home and folds away after, the SteamSpa SP-SS0002-1P portable infrared sauna brings 1050 W of infrared heat, a heated foot pad and a 60-minute timer on 120V AC, 60Hz.

Features

1050 W Infrared Heat
A 1050 W infrared heating panel warms the enclosed tent to the temperature you choose, up to 140°F, for a dry, even heat.

Heated Foot Pad
An infrared foot heating pad on the floor of the tent has its own low, medium and high settings, set from the controller's FOOT key.

Timer With Auto Off
Set a session from 0 to 60 minutes on the controller and the heating switches off by itself when the time is up.

Folding Chair and Foot Roller
A 17.1" x 17.1" x 26.4" folding chair and a foot massage roller come with the sauna, so you can sit comfortably and roll your feet while you relax.

Zippered Hand Openings
Unzip the hand openings to read a book or use your phone during a session without letting the heat out of the tent.

Fits Small Spaces at 40.55" H
Set up, the brown tent measures 31.49" W x 33.07" D x 40.55" H, small enough for a bedroom corner, and folds flat for storage or travel.

Insulated Waterproof Fabric
Waterproof thermal insulation fabric over a PP frame keeps the heat inside and wipes clean with a damp cloth after use.

ETL Certified, 120V Power
The sauna is ETL certified and runs on 120V AC, 60Hz through its 6.5' cord, plugged in only once the tent is fully set up and kept away from heat.

Specifications

Model: SP-SS0002-1P

Capacity: 1 person

Heating: 1050 W infrared heating panel, infrared foot heating pad (3 levels)

Temperature: Up to 140°F

Timer: 0 to 60 minutes, auto shut-off

Electrical: 120V AC, 60Hz, 6.5' power cord

Material: Waterproof thermal insulation fabric, PP frame

Color: Brown

Exterior: 31.49" W x 33.07" D x 40.55" H

Interior: 30.7" W x 32.3" D x 39.8" H

Chair: 17.1" W x 17.1" D x 26.4" H, folding

Use: Indoor only

Certification: ETL

Weight: 26.45 lb

Warranty: 1 year (register within 90 days)

What's Included

Portable infrared sauna tent

Remote control

Folding chair

Foot massage roller

Absorbent floor mat

User manual

Installation & Care

Installation
For indoor use only, in a dry room: do not use it in a humid, wet or damp place.
