unger-aquadozer-acme-insert
Unger AquaDozer Acme Insert

The Unger AquaDozer Acme Insert (FAAI0) is a green plastic adapter that converts an AquaDozer floor squeegee from a tapered socket to an Acme compatible socket. With the Unger AquaDozer Acme Insert fitted, the squeegee works with threaded handles as well as tapered handles, so one squeegee head can run on the handles a crew already owns.

Made for Every AquaDozer

Unger lists the insert as fitting all AquaDozer squeegees, which covers the AquaDozer Heavy Duty, AquaDozer Eco and AquaDozer Max floor squeegees. Each of those product pages names the Acme threaded insert as the optional part for wider handle compatibility.

The insert is small: 2.3" long, 1" wide and 1" high, and it weighs 0.1 lb. It installs easily into the squeegee socket and gives a secure fit for reliable cleaning during heavy duty work.

Why Convert to Acme Thread

Converting the AquaDozer lets you thread an Acme handle straight in, and it reduces the need to keep separate squeegees for different handle types.

Typical places for an AquaDozer with this insert are factories and warehouses with large volumes of water and debris, construction sites with mud on unfinished floors, retail floors and stockrooms, and outdoor work in parking lots and driveways.

Features

Tapered to Acme Conversion
The insert converts an AquaDozer squeegee from a tapered socket to an Acme compatible socket.
