Excellent thermal monocular!

I was very excited to receive this thermal monocular, and it didn't disappoint! The box it comes in is very nice and sturdy with a mag-close flap on the front. I was surprised to see that it comes in a black, tactical, MOLLE style pouch (though it is a bit oversized for this monocular) with hook closure rather than noisy clips or velcro. The monocular fits nicely in the hand and has a very easy to reach, small cam-lever that the thumb fits nicely on to adjust the diopter setting. It was around 70% charged when I turned it on and was greeted with the FLIR logo. The brightness is an easy adjustment on top of the monocular with the up/down arrows, and the menus, while a little clunky to navigate at first, are easy to use once you're familiar with the device. There are 9 different color palettes to choose from depending on the environment you're in, so you'll have to see which ones work best for the scene in front of you. This is very nice to be able to see what's around you in the dark, and it works incredibly well. Includes a USB cable for downloading images and charging the internal battery. Overall, I'm very excited to have this device and am looking forward to adding it to my hiking and camping gear! I would highly recommend this monocular to anyone that needs a good outdoor/tactical thermal imaging device!

Rocks!! Get one if you can afford it!

I completely love this, I use this in law enforcement and recommend anyone in law enforcement, emergency service to buy one at least! This product is worth it while searching for people in the woods.

Not too shabby

I got this from BF sale. The refresh rate is bad but within my expectation. This new model has a lot less parasitic battery drain compared to the old TK model I read from reviews.

Love the FLIR Scout Pro TKx , it is wonderful for seeing everything at night in the woods while out caming. Thermal imager can display humans, animals and objects in total darkness or bright light, 90 meter detection range - can detect the heat signature of human-sized objects up to 90 meters away,It's rugged and waterproof, tested to IM-67 diving waterproofing standards！It's perfect for his hunting property or caming and easy to carry around！！
