Excellent thermal monocular!

I was very excited to receive this thermal monocular, and it didn't disappoint! The box it comes in is very nice and sturdy with a mag-close flap on the front. I was surprised to see that it comes in a black, tactical, MOLLE style pouch (though it is a bit oversized for this monocular) with hook closure rather than noisy clips or velcro. The monocular fits nicely in the hand and has a very easy to reach, small cam-lever that the thumb fits nicely on to adjust the diopter setting. It was around 70% charged when I turned it on and was greeted with the FLIR logo. The brightness is an easy adjustment on top of the monocular with the up/down arrows, and the menus, while a little clunky to navigate at first, are easy to use once you're familiar with the device. There are 9 different color palettes to choose from depending on the environment you're in, so you'll have to see which ones work best

I completely love this, I use this in law enforcement and recommend anyone in law enforcement, emergency service to buy one at least! This product is worth it while searching for people in the woods.

Not too shabby

I got this from BF sale. The refresh rate is bad but within my expectation. This new model has a lot less parasitic battery drain compared to the old TK model I read from reviews.

Came in 2 days and works as advertised

Great little thermal! No zoom, but for camping/backyard use its perfect. We got it mainly to monitor pest issues on the property, but I was even able to pick up a commercial airliner flying across the sky. Within 50 ft it's super clear and still very clear out to 100 yds where you can still easily make out what you're seeing.

Great for the price

I had military-grade FLIR-like thermal imagery in the Military. This is NOT to that level. However, I took it out on a dark night, and you can see images up to about 100 yards. You cannot distinguish much at a distance, but you can see the difference between a human and a small animal. For the money, it's a force multiplier for your go-bag.

The Flir tkx works as described, Once you read the instructions, and adjust the device to your preference, it works perfectly around 100 yards.

Pleasantly surprised!

I was not expecting this to work as well as it does! I had some experience with military FLIR equipment in the last so I know roughly how this stuff works and what kind of images you can expect; from multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars(at the time) vehicle mounted units. I was very happy to find this far less costly little hand held gives very sharp image quality in such a compact package. I was in my back yard being able to make out very small details in the terrain around me. So much so that I could easily navigate the forest behind my house in extreme dark during a moonless night away from any artificial light. It picked up small animals from what I would have thought to be impossible distances. It’s very sensitive, but not invincible. Bought it for MOB tracking on the boat. Has proved useful for home security and for tracking critters in the dark. Also helpful for tracking heat loss in home. Read some reviews about short battery life. Not true, used it several times and it's only down one bar. Been sitting idle for a month now and is still at one bar down. Should be ready to go any time it's needed. Very happy with my purchase.

The thermal imaging monocular is easy to operate and hold. I’m picking up images in the daylight as well as in total darkness. Battery has lots of reserve energy. Pretty neat device, this could be used for safer hunting to verify before you make the shot.

Premium Design & Quality, Good Image Quality, Works Well for My Needs

This thermal device works very well! First off, it feels well made and doesn't feel cheap. It doesn't come with any kind of carry case, but it does have a lens cap, at least. I was a little intimidated by this at first because of all the buttons and controls, but it was quite easy to setup and use. This was my first time ever using a thermal device like this but in the end, it was easy to use and I felt a little silly being intimidated by it to begin with. It does work as it should and it was able to help me identify anything giving off a heat signature. The videos and images this can capture are of nice quality and I really like they include this feature in the device. The battery life is quite good and I've only ever had to charge it once (initial set up). Keep in mind I don't use it everyday or all day either. One of best scanning moisture meters you can buy!

I needed the ME 5 for a job in two days! I got the ME 5 in one day for my job! I do expert witness work and needed the same meter the other side expert was using I had an older version of the Tramex ME, which worked, but I wanted to have the exact meter to help dispute some of the other expert's findings, which I was able to do! It is an easy-to-use and accurate meter that anyone who performs moisture-related inspections needs to have! The Bluetooth feature with the app on your smartphone is a huge benifit!

Durable and Accurate

Great moisture tool for a many different requirements. It's pricey, but in the end, it produces a consistent result, which is important depending upon the reason for purchase (such as a business).

Trustable. As a home inspector, I use it for several year. Don't even look sowhere else. It worth the cost.

Solid Device

If you have the need for this for use for work or some sort of legit results that you can stand by, then this is awesome. Too expensive for a random homeowner, but I use this quite a bit for home inspections. It is simple, and to the point and I like that. Works great and the case is solid to fit in my bag of tools and not get damaged.

The unit is the #1 used metering tool I have in my box of many. Tramex has got the Ideal tool for covering large areas of metering quickly.

Pricey but it works!

DOES NOT WORK WITH RECHARGEABLE AA BATTERIES. I tried to use rechargeable batteries after the original ones died but I had all sorts of issues. This meter has been great so far. It provides good readings on multiple materials. I haven't read the manual... but I wish I could silence the beeping sometimes when I need a picture. My only complaint is that the analog dial does not have any sort of backlight or LED to illuminate it. This meter does not work in dark environments.

Small but Mighty!

Works great, got solid power for its size. Was super skeptical at first. Only downside is the 1-gallon dirty tank, gotta empty it a lot on big jobs.

You can tell this is well made. Small but extracts great and leaves upholstery and carpet dry. Love the clear nozzle and accurate spray, no mess. Only wish I got a bigger tank, but this fit my budget.

Works great for a cold water machine!

Wish I had the extra money for the hot water model, but honestly, no issues getting seats or carpets clean. Done 3 or 4 full details, including full carpet and upholstery shampooing, and it’s worked great every time. Way easier than the Bissell Spot Clean I was using. Customers seem to love the results too.

Good Backup Unit

Good basic unit for spot cleaning. We keep it as a backup for our Mytee Light and use it for midsized jets since it fits in tight spaces. Our other unit works but is too wide to reach the back. Just remember to use hot tap water since it doesn’t have a heater.

Very well worth the money I'm very pleased with my purchase

The Mytee S-300 does a great job cleaning and pulling dirt from carpets and seats. Sucks up water well, so they’re not too wet and dry way faster. If you need a solid extractor at a good price, this is it.

I had to wait about two weeks, but that was expected since the price was lower than buying directly from the manufacturer. I called their customer service, they gave me an estimated delivery time, and the item actually arrived earlier than promised. It came brand new in the original manufacturer's packaging. Big bang for the buck

Had a PowerFlight Portable that was bigger, but this one kicks butt. Plenty of power and heats water well. I have six older dogs and now my house smells fresh again. Easy to carry upstairs, and I’m 61 and skinny. Got the stainless wand for carpets, and the hand wand is perfect for smaller jobs.

12 inch Box Extractor Power Head Review

it’s been an excellent carpet cleaning tool. Cleaning carpets with it compared to a standard drag wand is like night and day. I feel less fatigued and can work faster without sacrificing quality. The clear window on top of the wand was a great idea by EDIC, letting you see exactly what you're extracting. Only issues I’ve had were from normal wear. Replaced the brush belt and handle after three years of use. Highly recommend this product.

THE Moisture Meter EVERY Property Inspector MUST Have

I've used a lot (12 or more) of different moisture meters: from the cheapest, to General MMD 950, to the Protimeter Surveymaster—NONE of them stand up to the MEX5. You have true readings of different materials (roofing, drywall, plaster, wood, tile, masonry. It is literally THE best I've ever used. I will not go back to the others. I sincerely regret the $700 I spent on the Protimeter Surveymaster and I regret all the FLIRs and Generals that I bought. Had I known this was it, I would have NEVER wasted a penny on the others.

As a mold assessor I really on my Tramex daily to give me accurate readings . I continue you to find out more and more all this little meter can do. Tramex does great little short videos showing the features and educating.

Solid performance but a bit pricey

It’s a powerhouse, no doubt. Cleans in both directions, but it comes with a hefty price tag. Still, for high-use environments, it’s worth the investment.

Great product, only complaint is that the spray nozzles are on the outside of the housing. This causes a lot of mist or steam to be released into the air and when working with cleaning products i dont like to breath that stuff in.

Love this thing.

This beast is in a whole different league. Customers can’t believe how easily we get stains out. Not only does it wipe out stains, but it speeds up drying like crazy. Even my competition stops by and is blown away by it. Only complaint is how it mounts to the skid - had to get creative and replace the front tire because of how it sits on the pallet. Still, 10/10 equipment.
