The Tramex CMP - Concrete Moisture Probe, also known as “The Determinator,” is a precision tool designed to measure in-situ moisture content within concrete floors and slabs. This advanced probe is used in conjunction with Tramex’s Concrete Moisture Encounter meters, including the CME5, CMEX5, CME4, and CMEX2, providing quantitative moisture content readings both at the surface and at depths of up to 4 inches.
Utilizing the Tramex Unified Concrete Moisture Test Method, the probe delivers accurate moisture readings in the top ¾ inch layer and deeper within the concrete structure. It helps professionals determine the source of moisture—whether it is below, within, or above the slab—making it an invaluable tool for diagnosing and resolving moisture-related issues in concrete installations.
Please note: the Concrete Moisture Probe must be used with a compatible Tramex meter and cannot function independently.
