The 48" Galvanized drum fan pairs a 1 HP motor with a belt drive that turns its three-blade galvanized prop at 525 RPM, and J&D rates it at 23,500 CFM of thrust on a 115V cord.
It is the size for long aisles, dock doors and open shop floors where one fan has to reach a long way. It draws 9.0 A at 115V and rolls on 10" wheels between jobs.
The 36" model is direct drive: a 1/2 HP, totally enclosed motor turns the prop at 825 RPM for 11,800 CFM of thrust while drawing 6.1 A at 115V.
With no belt to adjust, it suits fans that run every shift at a workstation or a bay door. It rides on 8" wheels with aluminum handles, and its cord wraps on the housing.
The drum is heavy-duty G90 galvanized steel, and the black powder-coated wire guards meet OSHA 1910.212(a)(5), the standard for fan guards used at any height.
J&D uses G90 galvanized steel here for durability and corrosion resistance in warehouses, factories and workshops. If you would rather have an aluminum drum, the Diamond Brite shares these motors and airflow ratings.
