The Nantucket Sinks FSSH3322 is a 33" hand-hammered stainless steel farmhouse apron sink from the Brightwork collection, an undermount apron-front sink with a bowed front. Nantucket designed the large single bowl to give you maximum room for cleaning your largest cookware, and the arched, hammered apron catches the light and the eye, for a farmhouse kitchen with a 36" apron base.
The bowl is 9" deep and 30" wide, measuring 14.5" front to back at the sides and 19.5" at the front center where the apron bows out, so there is extra room right where you stand. Rounded corners allow easy access to wipe down, and channel grooves in the bottom divert water to the rear 3.5" drain for proper drainage, which also keeps the drain out from under stacked dishes.
It is 16-gauge stainless steel, hand hammered, so each sink is slightly different and the dimensions are nominal, varying by up to 1/4". Nantucket says 16-gauge stainless will endure while adding sparkle to your home, and easy occasional polishing keeps it lustrous for a lifetime. The 9" tall apron carries the hammered texture onto the front of the cabinet, where it becomes the centerpiece of the kitchen.
Overall the FSSH3322 is 33" x 22" x 9" and weighs 38 lbs. It needs an apron base cabinet or cradle, and Nantucket recommends measuring the actual sink before final cabinet work.
Installing the FSSH3322
The FSSH3322 needs an apron base cabinet or cradle, and Nantucket recommends measuring the actual sink before final cabinet work. Per the apron guide, a 2x4 support frame inside the cabinet, built to hold up to 300 lbs once installed, sets the rim level and flush with the cabinet top, with room left for drains, supply lines and a disposal, and no template is included. The guide also notes that a stainless apron can be scratched during installation, so protect the hammered front. Nantucket lists the 3.5EDF-BRS extended flange and the BG-FC3320CA bottom grid.
Brightwork is Nantucket's curated assortment of specialty metal sinks, inspired by the brightwork on sailboats; like sunlight sparkling on the ocean on a clear day, the brand says, these pieces bring brilliance to a bath, bar or kitchen. The collection works in hand-hammered stainless steel, brass and copper, in round, square, oval, rectangular and trough bath and bar sinks, plus kitchen sinks, a farmhouse apron and the Steppe two-tier sink, so a home can repeat one metal from the powder room to the kitchen.
Caring for Hammered Stainless Steel
Care for the FSSH3322 follows Nantucket's hammered stainless guide: clean regularly with a non-abrasive cloth and a mild, bleach-free soap such as original Dawn, towel dry after every use to prevent water spots, and never use steel wool. For a deeper clean the brand recommends Flitz Polish Paste or a liquid metal polish, followed by Flitz Faucet Wax Plus to protect the surface, and it asks owners to keep cleaners other than mild soap and water off the steel and to rinse away grooming products, wine, fruit acid and ketchup.
The FSSH3322 is the Nantucket Sinks 33" hammered stainless farmhouse sink for a kitchen that wants a crafted apron front, with a bowed, hand-hammered apron and a large single bowl.
Bowed Hammered Apron
The 9" tall apron front is arched and hand hammered, so it catches the light across the front of the cabinet and gives the kitchen a crafted focal point.
Extra Room at the Front
Thanks to the bowed apron, the bowl measures 19.5" front to back at the center versus 14.5" at the sides, giving more space exactly where you work.
Large Single Bowl
A 30" wide, 9" deep single bowl gives maximum room for cleaning your largest cookware, with no divider in the way of roasting pans or sheet trays.
Channel-Grooved Floor
Channel grooves in the bottom of the sink divert water to the rear drain for proper drainage, so the bowl does not hold standing water.
16-Gauge Stainless Steel
Heavy 16-gauge stainless steel holds up to daily kitchen use, and a quick, occasional polish brings back the hammered shine when it dulls.
Rear Drain Placement
The 3.5" drain sits at the rear of the bowl, out from under stacked dishes, leaving the cabinet space in front of the plumbing more usable.
Sold separately: BG-FC3320CA bottom grid, 3.5" drain (NS35CD colander drain, NS35LCC flip-top crumb cup drain or NS35L basket strainer), 3.5EDF-BRS extended flange.
Installation
This is an undermount farmhouse apron sink and needs an apron base cabinet or cradle; it cannot go into a standard sink base without modification. Nantucket's installation guide calls for professional installation. Following the apron guide, the installer builds a 2x4 support frame inside the cabinet strong enough to hold up to 300 lbs once installed, set so the rim sits level and flush with the cabinet top, with room left for the drain, supply lines and a disposal. No template is included: the cutout is taken from the sink itself, and the counter can be cut flush or with a 1/4" overhang. Because the sink is handmade, measure the actual sink before the cabinet and countertop are finished, and protect the stainless apron from scratches during installation. It needs a 36" minimum apron base. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the countertop or wall. The 3.5" rear drain opening takes a standard 3.5" drain, sold separately. The Apron installation guide is in Resources.
Care
Clean regularly with a non-abrasive cloth and a mild, bleach-free soap such as original Dawn, and towel dry after every use to prevent water spots. Never use steel wool. For a deeper clean, Nantucket recommends Flitz Polish Paste or a liquid metal polish, then Flitz Faucet Wax Plus to protect the surface. Keep cleaners other than mild soap and water off the steel, and rinse away face cleansers, toothpaste, grooming products, wine, fruit acid and ketchup, which alter the finish.

Nantucket Sinks is a boutique sink maker based in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, that has designed kitchen and bath sinks for more than two decades. Its range of over 500 products brings together fireclay, stainless steel, granite composite, vitreous china, cast iron and hand-hammered metals sourced from skilled makers in Italy, China and beyond, styled with the charm of the New England coast.
Brightwork is Nantucket Sinks' collection of specialty metal sinks, named for the polished metal trim on a sailboat. Most pieces are hand hammered by artisans, so the dimpled surface catches the light and no two are exactly alike. In stainless steel the collection covers round, oval, square and trough-style bath and bar sinks plus kitchen bowls, prep stations and a farmhouse apron; in copper it adds a hammered prep station and the Steppe two-tier sink designed with Studio Dearborn.
