Silkroad cuts its tops from natural stone formed in the earth, not man-made or engineered like quartz, so this Carrara White marble top may show variation in color, pattern, discolorations or birthmarks, and no two tops are exactly alike. The top is a 0.75" slab with a flat edge, a plain profile that suits modern and transitional cabinets as well as painted or wood ones.
Silkroad recommends sealing every stone surface before installation, so dirt and water stains cannot get into the marble, applying the sealant only when the top is clean and completely dry, and resealing every 6 months to 1 year depending on the sealant, how often the vanity is used and how it is maintained. Day to day, clean it with mild soapy water, a nonabrasive or stone-specific cleaner and a damp microfiber cloth rather than spraying the stone, and wipe it dry after use.
If a stain does set, Silkroad's care guide lists remedies by stain type: a poultice of baking soda and water for oil-based stains, hydrogen peroxide or bleach for ink on light-colored stone such as Carrara White, and a neutral stone cleaner buffed with a soft cloth for water rings. The top is pre-drilled for a single-hole faucet, which needs only one hole in the stone at each sink; the faucet, drain and cabinet are bought separately, so confirm the drain and supply lines line up with the two sinks. Silkroad rounds its published measurements, so check them against your cabinet first. When the freight arrives, inspect the box and, if the driver allows, open the top to check the stone before you sign, and note any damage on the delivery receipt.
Care
Seal the marble before installation and reseal every 6 months to 1 year. Clean it with mild soapy water, a nonabrasive or stone-specific cleaner and a damp microfiber cloth rather than spraying the stone directly, and wipe it dry after use; water rings lift with a neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth. Use only those mild or stone-specific cleaners, and keep the top out of direct sunlight and sudden temperature changes. Silkroad Exclusive ships this vanity top from its warehouse in Stockton, California, by LTL freight with standard curbside delivery: the carrier calls you to book a weekday delivery appointment, and the driver leaves the boxes at the curb or in the driveway (not inside, and not up steps). In-stock items usually leave the warehouse within 1 to 2 business days; when an item is out of stock it can take 30 to 120 days to return, and we confirm the ship date by email before we charge for a back order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states; for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused Silkroad Exclusive products that have never been installed can be returned in their original packaging within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship; returns sent without one can't be accepted. Returns carry Silkroad Exclusive's 20% restocking fee, you pay the return freight, and the original shipping cost is not refunded. Payment processing fees are not refunded. Installed, used or damaged products can't be returned.
Silkroad Exclusive warrants this vanity top against defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase, for the original purchaser and the original installation in the US. After inspecting the claim, Silkroad Exclusive repairs or replaces the defective part or product, or refunds it, at its option; proof of purchase is required. Labor and removal or installation costs, damage from improper installation, misuse or cleaners not approved for natural stone, products moved after installation, and the natural variation in stone color and veining are not covered.
Warranty claims. Contact us with your order number, a short description and 4 to 6 clear photos or a video of the defect. We file the claim with Silkroad Exclusive, which may inspect the product before it decides on a repair, replacement or refund. Report a defect as soon as you find it, and don't install a product that arrives defective.
