The KPlunge CP-IFBAR-1HP Arctic Fox pairs a 1-person inflatable barrel cold plunge with the Gale 1 HP chiller and heater, so the water holds anywhere from 37°F for a cold plunge to 104°F for a warm soak without bags of ice. It suits a renter, a small home gym or anyone who wants a temperature-controlled plunge that can be drained, deflated and moved.
An 82 Gallon Barrel Plunge
The barrel holds 82 gallons (310 L) and measures 39.4" diameter x 35.4" H (39.4" H with lid), with a snow ash gray exterior and a blue interior. It suits an upright, seated plunge, and a round 39.4" footprint that tucks into a bathroom corner, garage bay or small patio. The PVC walls are 3.9" thick for insulation and stiffness, and the thick insulated lid fastens with child-safety clips when the tub is not in use.
Gale 1 HP Chiller and Heater
The Gale 1 HP unit sits beside the tub on wheels and connects with the supplied 98" water pipe and quick conversion connectors. It runs on 120V, 60Hz with a 1,150 W input and 3,050 W of cooling capacity, and SaunaSpa rates it to bring 53 gallons from 73°F to 41°F in 2.8 hours or less at an 82°F room temperature. You set the target from its touch panel or the Smart Life app over 2.4 GHz WiFi, and a built-in ozone generator, a replaceable filter cartridge and a mesh filter keep the water clear between sessions.
In daily use the Gale works in the background: set a target, let it run, and switch it off before you step in, as the chiller guide directs. The touch panel shows the live water flow and prompts you to check the filters if flow drops below 14 L/min, a defrost mode and anti-freeze protection look after the unit on cold nights, and with auto power switched on it restarts by itself after an outage.
Setup, Care and Storage
Setup takes no tools: lay down the ground mat, inflate the walls with the manual pump to 8 to 10 psi, close the drain and fill. Everything else is in the box, from the carry bag and non-slip floor mat to a thermometer, repair patches, two adapters and two drain plugs, and the tub works indoors or outdoors.
Care is light: drain, wash with warm soapy water and dry the tub every two weeks, check the air pressure now and then because temperature swings change it, and store it in the carry bag in a dry, shaded place. A puncture is a patch job with the repair kit and a PVC adhesive, followed by 24 hours before reinflating.
The Arctic Fox sits in the KPlunge inflatable range next to the Kodiak (CP-IFTUB), a 103-gallon oval tub with room to stretch out, and both are sold alone or with a Gale 3/4 HP or 1 HP chiller and heater. The KPlunge CP-IFBAR-1HP puts a 82-gallon Arctic Fox and a 1 HP Gale together, so the plunge is temperature controlled from day one and still packs away when you need the space back.
Inflates in Minutes
The included manual pump and hose bring the Arctic Fox up to its recommended 8 to 10 psi, so it can be set up without tools and packed away again.
Thick Insulated Walls and Lid
PVC walls 3.9" thick and a thick insulated lid hold the water temperature between sessions, and child-safety clips keep the lid fastened.
82 Gallon Barrel
The barrel holds 82 gallons (310 L) and measures 39.4" diameter x 35.4" H (39.4" H with lid), made for an upright, seated plunge.
Gale 1 HP Chiller and Heater
The included Gale unit cools to 37°F for a cold plunge and heats to 104°F for a warm soak, with 3,050 W of cooling capacity from a 1,150 W input on a 120V circuit.
Touch Panel and Smart Life App
Set the temperature, timer and ozone interval from the chiller touch panel or the Smart Life app on 2.4 GHz WiFi, so the water is ready when you are.
Ozone and Two-Stage Filtration
A built-in ozone generator runs on an interval you set up to 5 minutes, while a replaceable cartridge and a built-in mesh filter catch debris before it reaches the pump.
Complete Accessory Kit
A carry bag, ground mat, non-slip floor mat, thermometer, repair patches, two adapters and two drain plugs come in the box, so setup and storage need nothing extra.
Easy Draining
Bottom drain plugs and a drain tap let you empty the tub into a nearby drain or sink, which makes the two-weekly clean and dry quick.
Sold separately: PVC repair adhesive
Installation
Lay the ground mat on a flat, stable surface free of sharp objects or debris, spread the tub out and inflate it with the hand pump to 8 to 10 psi; do not overinflate. Close the drain valve before filling and fill until the water is above the tub outlet. Do not sit or stand on the inflatable walls. Set the Gale chiller upright on a stable, level surface at the same level as the tub, sheltered from direct sun, rain and snow, with about 39" of clear space around its vents; never in a closet or cabinet. After delivery let it stand upright for 24 hours before first use. Plug it into a properly rated 120V outlet, connect the tub outlet to the chiller inlet and the chiller outlet back to the tub inlet, fill the filter housing on top with water to purge air, and check that the panel shows more than 15 L/min of flow. Keep phones, radios and other electrical devices at least 5 ft from the chiller (KPlunge tub guide), and switch it off before you get in.
Care
Tub: before first use wash it with warm, soapy water, rinse and dry with a soft, clean cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners and high-pressure hoses. Every two weeks drain it, clean it the same way and dry it thoroughly. Check the air pressure regularly, since temperature swings change it, and reinflate as needed. Before deflating, drain and dry the tub completely, then store it in its carry bag in a dry, shaded place away from sharp objects and extreme temperatures. Patch any puncture with the repair kit and a PVC adhesive, and wait 24 hours before reinflating. Chiller: never add chlorine tablets or other corrosive disinfectants to the water and never clean the unit with strong bleach detergents; the ozone system disinfects automatically. Rinse the built-in mesh filter every 4 weeks, clean the dust net every 3 months, replace the filter cartridge when it is dirty or the flow warning appears, and drain the chiller through its drain valve before temperatures fall below 34°F or a long idle period.

KPlunge inflatable plunges come in two shapes: the 82-gallon barrel-shaped Arctic Fox (CP-IFBAR) and the 103-gallon oval Kodiak (CP-IFTUB). Each is sold as a tub alone or bundled with the Gale chiller and heater in 3/4 HP (-08HP) or 1 HP (-1HP); the Gale is also sold on its own, and the cedar cold plunge and the all-in-one Iroquois and Borealis are the permanent options in the range.
