The Empava EMPV-54WIT08 is a 54" alcove walk-in tub with an inline heater, 13 water jets and 12 air jets. It measures 54.33" L x 30.31" W x 39.76" H, holds 84.5 gallons and gives a 32.28" soaking depth, with a right-side drain. It seats one bather, and Empava's spec tab counts 25 jets in all, with a thermostatic system.
25 Jets and a 84.5-Gallon Soak
You step over a 3" threshold through a 19.25" wide door, turn a handle designed for weak wrists, and sit on a bench 21.63" long and 17.72" deep. The anti-slip floor grips your feet when you stand, and two handrails set at ergonomic angles support you on the way out. Once you are seated on the bench, Empava says you can expect a cozy soak without any numbness in your legs.
Empava fits two types of jets for family value: 13 powerful water jets loosen tense muscles, and 12 gentle air jets suit older or less mobile bathers, all adjustable to target the back, legs or feet. The heater holds the water between 77°F and 104°F, and the drain empties the tub in about 3 minutes. Empava says the constant heat and fast drainage together significantly reduce the risk of an older bather catching a cold.
Empava sized it for larger frames: the reclining area widens to 26.38" with generous corner curves, and the tub is rated to 440 lbs. A groove in the bench directs water to the drain so the seat dries quickly, helping the mold- and crack-resistant acrylic last. It weighs 220.46 lbs empty and runs on 120V. Empava says the 3" low threshold makes the tub easy to enter, and the door handle is designed for weak wrists to turn without difficulty. The drain is a right-side 1.97" drain.
Planning Around a 54.33" x 30.31" Footprint
Plan for an overall size of 54.33" L x 30.31" W x 39.76" H; empty, it weighs 220.46 lbs. It holds 84.5 gallons at a 32.28" soaking depth. The drain is on the right side, with a 1.97" opening. For power, Empava lists 120V.
Empava publishes a dimension drawing for this tub but no installation manual of its own, so plan the alcove, the drain and the supply connections from that drawing with your installer.
In short, the EMPV-54WIT08 is an Empava 54" alcove walk-in tub with 25 jets, a heater and 84.5 gallons of water.
Features
3" Low Threshold
The threshold is just 3" high. You walk in rather than climb over a tub wall, which Empava says makes the tub easy to enter.
Easy-Turn Door Handle
The door handle is designed for weak wrists to turn without difficulty. The door opening is 19.25" wide.
Seated Bench
Sit on a bench 21.63" long and 17.72" deep, with water up to a 32.28" soaking depth. Empava says you can expect a cozy soak without numbness in your legs.
Water and Air Jets
Thirteen water jets loosen tense muscles and twelve gentle air jets suit sensitive bathers. All are adjustable for the back, legs or feet.
Heater, 77°F to 104°F
The heater keeps the water between 77°F and 104°F while you soak, and Empava's spec tab lists a thermostatic system for the tub.
3-Minute Drain
The tub drains completely in about 3 minutes. Empava says the fast drainage reduces the risk of an older bather getting a cold.
Grab Rails and Anti-Slip Floor
Two handrails at ergonomic angles and a slip-resistant floor support you in and out.
Built for Larger Frames
The reclining area widens to 26.38" with larger corner curves, and the tub is rated to 440 lbs.
