The HEPAROOM 48 is a portable anteroom from HEPACART with a HEPA-filtered negative air machine built into the unit. It rolls to the doorway of a room under renovation or isolation, seals magnetically to the door frame, and gives workers a vestibule to pass through, while the embedded machine draws air without an external negative air machine on the job. HEPACART publishes the HEPAROOM for ICRA compliance levels I to V.

Filtration and monitoring

Inside, the negative air machine runs at fan speeds from 25 to 450 cfm, with its HEPA filter mounted post-fan. HEPACART tests and certifies each unit for HEPA filtration at 99.99%. Two digital pressure monitors come standard: one inside the HEPAROOM for adjusting the machine and one outside for checking the pressure from the corridor. A HEPA exhaust and diffuser grille sits on the side of the unit.

Fit and set-up

The HEPAROOM 48 natively fits 48" doors, and HEPACART's AnteRoom 48 reducers, extenders and expanders all fit it for other door sizes or more depth. Working dimensions are 51.5" W x 24" D x 85.5" H at a 190 lbs working weight, and the main hinged door opens to 34.5" W x 81.5" H. It moves on four casters, tilts up into place and slides to the door frame, and four integrated floor levelers set it level.

Using the vestibule

A worker finishing in the room steps into the HEPAROOM, closes the room door, cleans up, then exits and closes the HEPAROOM door. The integrated keypad lock and handle set restrict entry, the exterior electrical plug powers the LED lighting and convenience outlets, and an interchangeable flex-duct adapter with shut-off plate is fitted.

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days, then HEPACART ships in-stock units from Lenexa, Kansas, within 2 to 4 business days, fully assembled on a pallet by LTL freight, and they spend about 1 to 6 business days in transit depending on your region. Custom or out-of-stock items can take 2 to 4 weeks. Freight is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. It goes to a business address in the lower 48 states with a loading dock or forklift; contact us before you order if you need residential, liftgate, inside or appointment delivery, or delivery to Alaska or Hawaii. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it leaves HEPACART.

Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.

Unused HEPACART products in their original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery, if HEPACART approves the return. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry HEPACART's 30% restocking fee, you pay the return freight, and the shipping we paid to deliver it and payment processing fees are not refunded. Custom and special-order items are final sale, and used or contaminated units can't be returned.

HEPACART covers the HEPAROOM 48 under its own manufacturer warranty, on HEPACART's terms; we don't add a separate warranty. Complete the warranty activation when HEPACART's Warranty Activation Email arrives, and keep the model and serial number from the unit's label with your records.

Warranty claims. Contact us with your order number, model and serial number, and report any fault present on arrival within 10 days of delivery. We file the claim with HEPACART, which repairs or replaces equipment that was defective when it shipped.

HEPACART was founded in 2006 to solve one problem: doing construction and maintenance work in an occupied hospital without letting dust and airborne contaminants spread into the rooms around it. Its product line is assembled at its factory in Lenexa, Kansas, and HEPACART reports that carts it sold in 2006 are still in service.

The HEPAROOM 48 is HEPACART's AnteRoom 48 with the negative air machine built in, new in 2026. A standard AnteRoom ducts to a separate negative air machine such as the HEPAFORCE AIR 1100 and offers handle, lever or keypad hardware; the HEPAROOM ships with the machine, two digital monitors and a keypad lock as one unit, and takes the same AnteRoom 48 adapters and expanders.
