Flood Hog Out Of The Box

Mytee's "Out of the Box" film on the 7000LX Flood Hog, the flood extractor built around a 12-gallon recovery tank, dual LX vacuums and a 66 GPM stainless steel auto pump-out.

The pump-out empties the tank as you work through the included 25' cam-and-groove hose, so you keep extracting in flooded homes, basements and businesses without stopping to dump.

Stainless Strainer Basket Inside

Stainless Strainer Basket Inside

Close-up of the 7000LX with the lid off: the stainless steel strainer basket seated in the opening of the 12-gallon recovery tank, with the lid latches on the side.

The basket catches large debris before it reaches the 66 GPM pump-out, which protects the pump on dirty flood water. Lift it out to empty it, then drop it back in.

Flood Hog Controls And Drain

Flood Hog Controls And Drain

Front right view of the 7000LX: the switch panel on the side, the lid latches and drain valve on the front, the 10" foam-filled rear wheel and the 4" locking front casters.

When you want to empty the tank by hand, the bucket-height drain does it without tipping the 120 lb machine. The dual circuit light and tone help you split the two cords between circuits.

Got Questions?

Find answers below or contact our support team.

How much water can it remove per minute?

The stainless steel auto pump-out moves up to 66 gallons per minute.

Can I empty the recovery tank by hand?

Yes. The drain valve sits at bucket height, so you can empty the 12-gallon tank manually if you prefer.

How long can the hose run be?

Mytee rates the dual LX vacuums for effective hose runs of 150'.

What power does it need?

Two outlets on separate circuits. It has dual 50' 12/3 cords drawing 18 A and 13 A at 115 V, and an indicator light and tone help you find separate circuits.

Can it be used as a regular extractor?

Yes. Mytee says the Flood Hog can also work as a stand-alone extractor with an external water source.

What warranty does it have?

1 year parts and labor, 2 years on major components such as the pump-out and vacuum motors, and 10 years on the roto-molded housing and tank.
