What it is
The Mytee LTD5-LX Speedster LTD is a portable carpet extractor for residential and commercial carpet cleaning, hard-surface extraction and tile and grout cleaning. It pairs Mytee's dual LX vacuum motors, rated up to 250 CFM and 182" of water lift, with an adjustable 500 PSI piston pump (1.5 GPM). Mytee rates the LX vacuums for effective hose runs of 150'.
Tanks and auto-fill
Its solution and recovery tanks hold about 11 gallons each. Auto-fill connects to a garden hose and shuts off when the solution tank is full, and the auto pump-out (3.3 GPM) drains the recovery tank through a second garden hose, so you can keep cleaning while the machine holds both tank levels. A chemical injection meter siphons your choice of concentrate from the included 5-quart Big Mouth bottle into the solution line.
Power and heat
The LTD5-LX runs on two detachable 50' 12/3 twist-lock power cords. Cord 1 draws 20 A and cord 2 draws 14 A at 115 V; plug each into its own 20 A circuit. It is an unheated extractor; Mytee's 240-120 Hot Turbo portable heater can be added for hot-water cleaning, and the LTD3 is the heated Speedster LTD.
Moving it
The LTD5-LX weighs 135 lb. 10" foam-filled rear wheels and 4" locking front casters move it around the job and keep it from rolling. The body is roto-molded polyethylene that resists rust and dents, and an on-board rinse hose washes out the recovery tank after the job. The A145 Loading Buddy wheel kit is included for loading into a work vehicle.
Tools and warranty
Mytee lists the 8400GT Mytee Dry GT upholstery tool and the 8314SW Bentley Pro speed wand alongside the LTD5-LX, and the P507 transport tray fits the Speedster LTD. Spare 5-quart bottles come in the PAK4-5 four-pack. The LTD5-LX is covered by Mytee's warranty: 1 year parts and labor, 2 years on major components such as pumps, vacuum motors and heaters, and 10 years on roto-molded housings and tanks.

Damaged in delivery
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Returns
Unused Mytee equipment in its original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry Mytee's 25% restocking fee, you pay the return shipping, and payment processing fees are not refunded. Electrical components and refurbished items are final sale, and used machines can't be returned.
Warranty
Mytee covers the LTD5-LX for 1 year on parts and labor, 2 years on major components (pumps, vacuum motors and heaters) and 10 years on roto-molded housings and tanks. Freezing damage, abuse, misuse and neglect void the warranty, and normal wear parts are not covered.

The 500 PSI piston pump is adjustable from the waist-high regulator, so you set pressure for the job and read it on the gauge without bending. The two detachable 50' cords draw 20 A and 14 A.

Is the Mytee LTD5-LX heated?
No. The LTD5-LX is unheated. For hot-water cleaning, add Mytee's 240-120 Hot Turbo portable heater, or choose the heated LTD3.

How do the auto-fill and pump-out work?
Connect a garden hose to the auto-fill and the solution tank fills until it reaches the float switch. Connect a second hose to the pump-out, switch it on and open the valve, and the recovery tank drains at 3.3 GPM while you clean.
What is the chemical injection for?
Fill the included 5-quart bottle with concentrate and open the injection knob. The meter siphons chemical into the solution line at the rate you set.
