The SteamSpa BKT2100CH-ADP is a 21 kW Black Series Deluxe steam generator package with a wall-mounted touchscreen with WiFi app control, an external on/off switch and an integrated dual aroma pump, plus polished chrome steamheads. This SteamSpa 21 kW steam shower generator turns a sealed shower enclosure of about 380 to 530 ft³ into a home steam room, and it suits a fully loaded steam shower with automatic aromatherapy from two scents, music, lighting and app control.
Everything runs from the wall-mounted touchscreen: tap steam on, and the generator fills and heats its tank, then sends steam into the shower. The room temperature is set with a slide on the screen, an ECO mode caps the room at 122°F, and user presets save each person's time and temperature. A weekly working mode lets you pick the days and start time so the room is warming before you arrive, a real-time clock shows in standby, and a four-digit safety lock keeps the panel locked until the code is entered. The same functions are available from the SteamSpa app over WiFi.
Sized for 380 to 530 ft³ Steam Rooms
SteamSpa's dual-generator sizing chart lists 21 kW total for a 7' x 10' x 7' cabin and a range of 380 to 530 ft³, and it notes that it is safe, and even recommended, to choose one size step above the chart. Beyond 12 kW, SteamSpa splits the load across two generator units, so this 21 kW package can steam a large multi-person steam room, with each unit on its own dedicated 240V line. If the generator will sit more than 10' to 15' from the steam room, SteamSpa recommends going 1 to 2 kW higher to keep the steam flow up.
Audio, Lighting and a Dual Aroma Pump
Sound and light are part of the package: two stereo speakers play music, podcasts or audiobooks from your phone over Bluetooth, and two color therapy lights and a white LED light set the mood or simply light the room. Steam enters the shower through polished chrome steamheads in solid steel with aroma wells.
The Deluxe package adds an integrated dual aroma pump with two glass canisters, so two scents can be loaded at once. On the touchscreen you set outlet A or B to release scent for 1 to 9 seconds, then pause for 1 to 10 minutes, for an even fragrance through a long session. SteamSpa includes a starter set of three 10 ml sample oils and two 1000 ml glass bottles, and an external on/off switch outside the enclosure starts or stops the steam.
Teflon Elements, Steel Steamheads, Relief Valve and Tank Drain
The heating elements are Teflon coated, which SteamSpa says resists scale and corrosion and outlasts traditional brass elements. The package pairs two generator units, which share the load of the steam room, and a pressure relief valve opens automatically if the tank pressure ever passes 15 psi. The generator has a hanging groove for wall mounting and must be installed level, so its water level sensor reads correctly.
Power, Plumbing and Placement
Plan the power and plumbing before the walls close. Each of the two generator units needs its own dedicated 240V line and auxiliary breaker, and SteamSpa recommends closely matched units with the highest kW unit as the primary. The units can sit side by side with 15" between them or stacked with 6" between them, in a closet behind the shower, the attic or the basement, indoors and protected from freezing.
With about 380 to 530 ft³ of steam room in reach and polished chrome steamheads in the shower, the SteamSpa BKT2100CH-ADP gives you a complete 21 kW steam shower package from one brand, ready for a licensed electrician and plumber to install.
Features
21 kW for 380 to 530 ft³
SteamSpa's sizing chart matches 21 kW to a large multi-person steam room of about 380 to 530 ft³, so the generator is matched to the room's volume; SteamSpa says choosing one size up is safe and even recommended.
Touchscreen and WiFi App Control
The wall-mounted touchscreen and the SteamSpa app run steam, light, music and presets, with an ECO mode that caps the room at 122°F and a four-digit safety lock.
Polished Chrome Steamheads
Steam enters through polished chrome steamheads in solid steel with aroma wells; tighten them by hand and mount them about 12" above the floor with the outlets pointing down, away from the bench.
Teflon Heating Elements
Teflon-coated elements resist scale and corrosion and, as SteamSpa rates them, withstand high heat far longer than traditional brass elements, so the generator keeps its output.
Automatic Pressure Relief
A pressure relief valve comes in the package and opens automatically when tank pressure passes 15 psi, an added layer of protection for the generator and the home.
Bluetooth Audio
Pair your phone over Bluetooth and play music, podcasts or audiobooks through two stereo speakers in the steam room.
Chroma and LED Lighting
Two color therapy lights and a white LED light give you soft mood color during a session and clear white light when you need it.
Integrated Dual Aroma Pump
Two glass canisters hold two scents, and the pump releases each for 1 to 9 seconds every 1 to 10 minutes; a starter set of oils comes in the box.
External On/Off Switch
Mounted outside the steam shower, it starts or stops the generator with one press, and its colored backlight shows when the room is heating and when it is ready.
Two Units, Two Circuits
The 21 kW total is shared by two generator units, each on its own dedicated 240V line and breaker, so no single circuit has to carry the whole load.

Installation & Care
Installation
Electrical: each of the two generator units needs its own dedicated 240V line and auxiliary breaker, with a power disconnect within sight and a proper ground; SteamSpa's single-unit table runs from 19A at 4.5 kW to 50A at 12 kW, so size each circuit to the unit it feeds. Plumbing: a 1/2" hot or cold supply at 15 to 20 psi through a pressure reducing valve, the inline filter and a quick connect and release fitting, in copper or brass only (no PEX or PVC), with inlet water no hotter than 160°F. Run 3/4" copper or brass steam pipe with curved elbows, sloped so condensation drains back, with no valves and no dips, insulated where it can be touched, and keep it off any wall material not rated to 240°F. Mount the steamheads about 12" above the floor, outlet down and away from any bench, keep the temperature sensor or control off the steamhead wall, seal every pipe and fitting with 100% silicone caulk, and add an exhaust fan outside the steam room. Leave 12" of clearance on both sides and the top of the generator. SteamSpa requires a licensed electrician and a licensed plumber, and the installation manual is in Resources.
Care
Drain the tank after use so minerals do not settle. Replace the inline filter cartridge at least every 6 months, clean the water supply pipes once a year, and have the generator, steamhead, pipes and fittings checked for leaks every year. About every six months, a technician can remove the cover and clean scale off the water level sensor prong. Wipe the steamheads with soapy water and a soft sponge, never with harsh chemicals or abrasive tools, and keep the touchscreen glass free of hard objects; wipe off mist for a clean touch. Children under 16 should not use the steam room, and because SteamSpa generators are not boilers, check with your local inspector before any commercial use.
