The Unger Excella Floor Cleaning Kit 18" (EFKT1) is a bucketless microfiber floor mopping system for custodial teams that clean hallways, classrooms, offices, lobbies and retail floors every day. The Unger Excella 18" floor cleaning kit combines the Excella Offset Pole with Actuator (EFPL1), an 18" aluminum Mop Pad Holder (EF40B), two 20" Excella Cleaning Pads (EF40M) and two 1L Excella Bottles (EFBTL), so the cleaning solution rides on the pole instead of in a bucket.
Solution on the Pole, Not in a Bucket
The kit is ready to use straight out of the box: there are no buckets to fill before a shift and no heavy buckets to lift and carry between rooms. Each 1L (34 oz) bottle snaps onto the pole, and a press of the actuator button sends floor cleaner through a blockage free pulse system that dispenses liquid precisely in front of the pad. The refillable bottle has a filling level guide, a high precision dispensing mechanism and nozzle, and needs no clogging or flushing routine. With two bottles in the kit, a second solution or a refill is always on hand.
Unger designed the pole around the motion of damp mopping. The offset pole has rotatable grips so the operator can steer the mop pad holder in an intuitive S shaped motion with minimal effort. The telescopic pole adjusts from 45" to 60" (114 to 152 cm): turn the locking collar, set the grip at chin height for the person mopping, then tighten the locking cone. Fitting the pole to each worker keeps posture upright on long corridors.
18" Mop Pad Holder and Microfiber Cleaning Pads
The black aluminum EF40B holder measures 18" across and carries the gray EF40M cleaning pads, which measure 20" long. Each pad is made of 100% polyester microfiber with a 10mm looped pile for gliding ability and dirt absorption, and a hook and loop backing holds it firmly to the holder. Color coding tabs on the pad let a facility assign pads to cleaning zones, and each pad is rated for 300 wash cycles. The kit suits wet and dry floor cleaning, and the second pad means a fresh one is ready when the first is loaded.
The 18" width is a practical size for classrooms, offices, patient room corridors, hotel hallways and retail aisles where the mop has to work around furniture and fixtures as well as cover open floor. For larger open areas Unger offers the same system as the Excella Floor Cleaning Kit 24" with a 24" holder and 26" pads.

Every piece is sold as an Excella part, so worn pads, an extra bottle or a second holder can be added without replacing the kit. The EFBTL bottle fits both the offset pole with actuator and the Excella Straight Pole with Actuator (EFPL4), and the EF40B holder also takes the Excella Restroom Cleaning Pad (EF40R) and the Excella Finishing Pad (EF40F). On Pole Liquid Dispensing
Press the actuator button on the EFPL1 pole and the blockage free pulse system dispenses floor cleaner precisely from the bottle. The solution travels with the mop, so there is no bucket to fill, carry or empty.
Two Refillable 1L Bottles
The kit includes two Excella Bottles (EFBTL), each holding 34 oz (1 L) with a filling level guide. A high precision nozzle dispenses without clogging, and a spare bottle keeps a second solution ready.
Telescopic Pole From 45" to 60"
The offset pole adjusts from 45" to 60" (114 to 152 cm) with a locking collar and locking cone. Setting the grip at chin height fits the tool to each operator.
Rotatable Grips for S Motion Mopping
Rotatable grips on the offset pole let the operator guide the pad holder in an S shaped motion with minimal effort. The motion keeps the pad in contact with the floor along walls and around furniture.
18" Aluminum Mop Pad Holder
The EF40B holder is 18" wide, made of aluminum and weighs 0.8 lb. It attaches securely to the base of the pole and accepts Excella hook and loop pads.
Microfiber Pads With 10mm Looped Pile
Two 20" EF40M cleaning pads use 100% polyester microfiber with a 10mm looped pile for gliding ability and dirt absorption. Hook and loop backing holds each pad flat on the holder.
Rated for 300 Wash Cycles
Each Excella Cleaning Pad is rated for 300 wash cycles. Pads are laundered and reused, and replacements are sold as EF40M.
Color Coding Tabs for Zones
Color coding tabs on the cleaning pads and color coding on the replaceable bottle help a team keep tools assigned to their cleaning zones. Supervisors can see at a glance which pad belongs where.

Installation & Care
Installation
Attach the EF40B mop pad holder securely to the base of the pole, then press an EF40M cleaning pad onto the holder's hook and loop face. Fill an EFBTL bottle with floor cleaner and fit it to the pole. To set the height, turn the locking collar, raise or lower the pole until the grip meets the worker's chin, and tighten the locking cone; do not extend the pole past the STOP indicator mark. Press the actuator button to apply cleaner and mop using an S shaped motion.
Care
Launder the microfiber cleaning pads after use and replace them once they reach their 300 wash cycle rating. Rinse bottles with clean water when changing solutions, and wipe the pole and holder down after each shift before storing.

You pay the return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted along with payment processing fees. Used items and special-order items can't be returned.
Unger covers this product with its Limited Lifetime Commercial Warranty for the original purchaser when it is bought from an authorized Unger reseller, as My Clean Supplies is. If the product has a defect in materials or workmanship, Unger will, at its option, replace or refund the product or the defective part free of charge. Unger defines lifetime as the reasonably expected useful life of the product under normal commercial use. Consumable items that need routine replacement, such as squeegee rubber, scraper blades, microfiber cloths, mop pads, resin, filters, membranes and cleaning solution, are not covered.
