Chevron main broom with dust control

The Kleen Sweep 40R and 47R share one compact chassis: a 28" chevron-style main broom throws debris into two hoppers holding 2.1ft³ in total, while a suction fan pulls fine dust through a plate filter with a shaker so the air leaves clean. Spring-loaded 18" side brooms bring dirt in from the edges, one on the 40R and two on the 47R.

The cantilever broom adjustment keeps pressure even across the full width, so it seldom needs resetting, and the main broom changes without tools.

Front-wheel drive for tight turns

Front-wheel drive for tight turns

A center-staff front wheel drive steers the sweeper through a 70" turning radius, and the standard 24 V battery pack gives up to four hours of non-stop sweeping at up to 4 mph. It climbs grades up to 12%.

The seat console tilts back for battery service and main broom adjustment, and a seat switch cuts power when the operator leaves the seat, on carpeted or hard commercial, retail and healthcare floors.

Got Questions?

Find answers below or contact our support team.

What is the difference between the Kleen Sweep 40R and 47R?

The sweeping width. Both use the same 28" main broom, hoppers and drive. The 40R sweeps a 40" path with one right-hand 18" side broom and is rated at 61,354ft²/hr. The 47R sweeps a 50" path with a second side broom on the left and is rated at 77,500ft²/hr.

How long does a charge last?

Up to four hours of non-stop sweeping from the standard 24 V high-capacity battery pack. Charge with the machine parked in a well-ventilated area, and keep open flames away from the batteries.

Can it sweep carpet?

Yes. Minuteman states that the Kleen Sweep 40R and 47R can be used on commercial carpeting as well as hard floors, and the main broom has two pressure settings, regular and heavy.

How do I empty the hoppers?

There are two hoppers, holding 2.1ft³ in total. Shake the filter first so settled dust drops into the hoppers, lower them, lift each one slightly by its recessed grip and pull it out by the bow handle, then empty it and slide it back in.

How loud is it?

Minuteman gives a sound power level of 86 dB(A), measured under standard operating conditions at maximum volume flow.
