The ANZZI SD-AZ054-01CH is the 48" x 58" Galleon Series frameless tub door in Polished Chrome. At 48" wide and 58" tall, it closes off a bathtub shower with frameless glass that swings open on hinges instead of sliding along a track. Polished chrome is the bright mirror finish that matches most standard faucets and shower trims, so the door blends into an existing bathroom without a second metal finish.
Galleon trades the bottom track of a sliding tub door for German engineered high grade hinges, so the glass swings open for an effortless entry and there is no rail on the tub deck to step over or scrub. Anti water seals cover the full length of each panel to help keep water in the tub and off the bathroom floor.
The glass is crystal clear tempered Deco-Glass with pre-drilled hardware holes, made from ANSI certified tempered glass for safety and reliability. ANZZI's dual sided Tsunami Guard coating helps prevent water stains, soap scum and limescale build-up, and the frameless presentation keeps the tub looking open and uncluttered.
ANZZI makes the hardware from marine grade aluminum alloy and zinc, which it rates highly rust resistant, and certifies it scratch resistant against minor scratches and chips under its Rhino Alloy standard. The opening can be installed on either the left or the right side, matching the shower end of your tub.
The SD-AZ054-01CH measures 48" wide and 58" tall. Check the space in front of the shower before you order: a hinged door needs room to swing open into the bathroom, clear of the vanity, the toilet and any towel bars.
Galleon is offered here in 2 finishes (brushed nickel and polished chrome), so you can match the glass to your space and your fixtures; the SD-AZ054-01CH is the 48" x 58" door in Polished Chrome.
The door is sold on its own, so it needs your existing tub and finished, plumb walls to mount against. Day to day the glass takes very little work: squeegee or wipe it after the last shower of the day so drops do not dry into spots, and wash it with soap and hot water on a soft cloth when it needs more. Skipping abrasive pads and harsh cleaners protects both the glass coating and the polished chrome finish.
Galleon suits a family or guest bathroom that keeps the tub for baths but wants a clean glass look for showers, in polished chrome or brushed nickel. ANZZI highly recommends professional installation.

Installation & Care
Installation
Fits a finished opening 48" wide and 58" tall, installed on a finished threshold or tub deck between finished walls that are plumb and at right angles. The hardware is reversible for a left or right opening. ANZZI recommends professional installation. ANZZI's specification sheet is in Resources.
Care
ANZZI's care guide says to clean with regular soap and hot water on a non-abrasive cloth or sponge, to test any stronger cleaner on an inconspicuous area first, to rinse every surface completely right after cleaning, and never to let a cleaner soak. Because the Tsunami Guard coating makes water bead and run off, a squeegee or soft-cloth wipe after each shower clears the drops before they dry into spots; skip scouring cleaners, bristle brushes and abrasive sponges, which can scratch the glass and its coating. Wipe the metal hardware dry with a soft cloth and keep ammonia, bleach and acid cleaners off the finish.
