The ANZZI SD-AZ22-01MB-FL is the 34" x 74" Welle Series framed fixed shower screen in Matte Black with fluted glass. A single framed panel of clear or fluted glass, it turns an open walk-in shower into a sheltered one with nothing to open or close. Matte black draws a crisp dark outline around the glass and pairs naturally with black faucets, shower systems and grout lines in a modern or industrial bathroom.
Welle is a minimalist fixed screen for a walk-in shower. One 34" by 74" framed panel stands at the wall and catches the spray, while the open side gives wide, unobstructed entry, so there is no door to swing, no track to clean and no handle to fit. Its clean, straight-edged frame is the quieter counterpart to ANZZI's arched Ember screen.
The glass is 5/16" (8 mm) thick tempered glass in clear or fluted. Clear glass keeps the shower bright and shows off the tile; fluted glass adds texture and blurs the view for privacy. ANZZI's water-repellent Tsunami Guard coating protects against water stains, lime scale and soap scum, so the glass stays cleaner for longer.
The high-quality frame resists rust, wear and daily moisture exposure, and it comes in brushed gold, brushed nickel or matte black. The panel is designed for left or right wall installation, and it ships with all mounting hardware and instructions for a hassle-free, DIY friendly install.
The panel measures 34" wide and 74" tall. A fixed screen leaves one side of the shower open, so set it on the side where the shower head sprays: the glass catches the water and the opening stays dry. Allow enough floor beyond the screen for the spray pattern of your shower head. ANZZI's installation manual calls for at least 0.7" of flat, level threshold for the glass to sit on, with plumb walls at right angles. The panel mounts on the left or the right wall, so the screen can go on whichever side the shower head faces.
Welle is offered here in 3 finishes (brushed gold, brushed nickel and matte black) and a choice of clear glass and fluted glass, so you can match the glass to your space and your fixtures; the SD-AZ22-01MB-FL is the 34" x 74" screen in Matte Black.
A screen sits on a finished threshold or shower floor, so plan it with your base or curbless floor and your wall finish. Day to day the glass takes very little work: squeegee or wipe it after the last shower of the day so drops do not dry into spots, and wash it with soap and hot water on a soft cloth when it needs more. Skipping abrasive pads and harsh cleaners protects both the glass coating and the matte black finish.
Welle suits compact or open-layout bathrooms with a walk-in shower, a curbless remodel or a tiled walk-in shower in a primary bath, and anyone choosing between clear glass for light and fluted glass for privacy.

Seamless Walk-In Access
The open screen design gives wide, unobstructed entry, with no door, track or handle to work around.
5/16" (8 mm) Tempered Glass
Clear or fluted 5/16" (8 mm) thick tempered glass gives the screen strength and safety at 74" tall.
Tsunami Guard Protection
The water-repellent coating protects against water stains, lime scale and soap scum, keeping the glass cleaner for longer.
Rust-Resistant Frame
The high-quality frame resists rust, wear and daily moisture exposure in a steamy bathroom.
Slim Threshold Requirement
ANZZI's manual calls for at least 0.7" of flat, level threshold, so the screen fits a slim curb or a curbless floor.
Matte Black Finish
The hardware is finished in matte black, a low-sheen dark tone that frames the glass in a crisp outline and suits black fixtures and modern tile.
Fluted Glass
A ribbed, fluted texture softens the view into the shower for privacy, while still letting light reach the whole space.
34" x 74" Size
At 34" wide and 74" tall, the screen is sized for a 34" opening, so measure the finished opening before ordering.

Installation & Care
Installation
Mount the 34" x 74" panel on a finished threshold against a finished, plumb wall, on the side the shower head sprays toward. ANZZI's manual calls for at least 0.7" of flat, level threshold or tub deck. The hardware is reversible for a left or right opening. ANZZI notes the glass is heavy and the install needs two people. Allow 24 hours for the silicone to set before the first shower. ANZZI's installation manual, specification sheet and care guide are in Resources.
Care
ANZZI's care guide says to clean with regular soap and hot water on a non-abrasive cloth or sponge, to test any stronger cleaner on an inconspicuous area first, to rinse every surface completely right after cleaning, and never to let a cleaner soak. Because the Tsunami Guard coating makes water bead and run off, a squeegee or soft-cloth wipe after each shower clears the drops before they dry into spots; skip scouring cleaners, bristle brushes and abrasive sponges, which can scratch the glass and its coating. Wipe the metal hardware dry with a soft cloth and keep ammonia, bleach and acid cleaners off the finish.
