The SteamSpa SP-SS0002-1P is a 1-person portable infrared sauna in brown: a zip-up insulated tent with a 1050 W infrared heating panel, an infrared foot heating pad and a folding chair, that plugs into a standard 120V outlet. It is for anyone who wants a private dry-heat session at home without building a sauna room, in an apartment, a spare room or a home gym, and who wants to fold it away afterwards.
You sit in the folding chair with your head out of the top, zip the tent closed and let the panel warm the space to the temperature you choose, up to 140°F. A separate foot pad warms your feet on low, medium or high, a foot massage roller sits under your soles, and zippered hand openings let you hold a book or your phone during the session.
A handheld controller sets the temperature and a timer from 0 to 60 minutes; when the time is up the heating turns itself off. SteamSpa recommends sessions of 30 minutes or less, no more than 3 times a week.
The tent is a waterproof thermal insulation fabric over a PP frame that holds the heat in and wipes clean. Set up, it measures 31.49" W x 33.07" D x 40.55" H outside and 30.7" W x 32.3" D x 39.8" H inside, and it folds flat for a closet or for travel. The unit is ETL certified, with a 6.5' power cord.
Setting Up and Using It
Setup takes minutes and no tools: unfold the tent on a level floor, lay the absorbent mat and the foot pad with its footprint side up, set the chair in place off the pad, and plug in only once everything is assembled. The controller's FOOT key shows the pad's level with its light: off for no heat, a slow flash for low, a quick flash for medium and steady for high.
For the quickest warm-up, close the zipper fully and cover the neck opening while the tent heats, and use it in a room that is not cold. Afterwards, unzip it to let the heat out, dry the mat, wipe the inside with a damp cloth and fold it away; the fabric does not need washing.
Choosing Your Portable Sauna
It shares its 1050 W panel, controller and chair with the SP-SS0001-1P in blue, a little more compact at 37.79" tall, so the choice comes down to color and how much room you have. SteamSpa's steam models, the SP-SS0003-1P and SP-SS0004-1P, use a 900 W steamer for wet heat instead.

Installation & Care
Installation
For indoor use only, in a dry room: do not use it in a humid, wet or damp place. Unfold the tent on a level floor, keep the folding chair off the foot heating pad, and lay the pad with its footprint face up. Plug it into a 110V to 120V outlet only once the sauna is fully set up, never while it is folded, and keep the cord away from heat. To reach temperature, close the zipper fully and cover the neck opening while it heats; in a cold room, move it somewhere warmer. SteamSpa does not recommend it for anyone under 18.
Care
Unplug the cord after each use. Open the zipper to ventilate and wait until the heat has gone, dry the floor mat, then wipe the tent with a clean damp cloth; it does not need washing. Fold the tent as the guide shows and store it in a dry, ventilated place with nothing stacked on top.

SteamSpa ships this item from the SW Corp warehouse by UPS, FedEx or USPS, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused SteamSpa products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. You pay the return shipping, which for a freight item means the freight cost, and a 20% restocking fee is deducted along with payment processing fees. Installed, used or damaged products and special-order items can't be returned.
SaunaSpa covers this portable sauna for one year from the date of purchase against manufacturer defects and malfunctions. Register it at saunaspa.com/register within 90 days of delivery; the warranty is void without registration. Some repairs are chargeable, and damage from misuse or from not following the user guide is not covered.
