The Unger Excella Floor Cleaning Straight Kit 18" (EFKT8) is the straight handle version of Unger's bucketless microfiber floor mopping system, for cleaning professionals who prefer a straight pole for control and precision. The Unger Excella 18" straight floor cleaning kit brings together the Excella Straight Pole with Actuator (EFPL4), the 18" aluminum Mop Pad Holder (EF40B), the 20" Excella Cleaning Pad (EF40M) and the 1L Excella Bottle (EFBTL).
Straight Pole With a Built In Actuator
The EFPL4 straight pole is aluminum in black and green, measures 46.4" long and weighs 2.6 lb. Like the offset Excella pole, it carries the cleaning solution on the handle: an EFBTL bottle fits the pole, and the actuator dispenses floor cleaner onto the floor ahead of the pad, so there are no buckets to fill, lift or carry from room to room. The straight shaft keeps the hands in line with the mop pad holder, which many operators find easier to control along walls, under desks and around fixtures.
The 1L (34 oz) Excella Bottle is refillable, with a filling level measurement guide and a high precision dispensing mechanism and nozzle. No clogging or flushing is required, and the same bottle fits both the Excella Straight Pole with Actuator and the Excella Offset Pole with Actuator.
18" Holder and Microfiber Cleaning Pad
The black aluminum EF40B holder is 18" wide and weighs 0.8 lb. It takes the gray EF40M Excella Cleaning Pad, which is 20" long and made of 100% polyester microfiber with a 10mm looped pile for gliding ability and dirt absorption. A hook and loop backing holds the pad to the holder, color coding tabs let a facility assign pads to cleaning zones, and the pad is rated for 300 wash cycles. The kit handles both wet and dry floor cleaning.
The 18" width suits classrooms, gyms, hallways, patient rooms, offices, lobbies and retail sales floors and stockrooms, where the tool has to cover open floor and still fit between furniture.

Installation & Care
Installation
Attach the EF40B mop pad holder securely to the base of the straight pole, then press the EF40M cleaning pad onto the holder's hook and loop face. Fill the EFBTL bottle with floor cleaner and fit it to the pole. Press the actuator to apply cleaner ahead of the pad and mop in an S shaped motion.
Care
Launder the microfiber cleaning pad after use and replace it once it reaches its 300 wash cycle rating. Rinse the bottle with clean water when changing solutions, and wipe the pole and holder down before storing.

Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused Unger products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. You pay the return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted along with payment processing fees. Used items and special-order items can't be returned.
Unger covers this product with its Limited Lifetime Commercial Warranty for the original purchaser when it is bought from an authorized Unger reseller, as My Clean Supplies is. If the product has a defect in materials or workmanship, Unger will, at its option, replace or refund the product or the defective part free of charge. Unger defines lifetime as the reasonably expected useful life of the product under normal commercial use. Consumable items that need routine replacement, such as squeegee rubber, scraper blades, microfiber cloths, mop pads, resin, filters, membranes and cleaning solution, are not covered.
