The Unger Excella Floor Finishing Kit 18" (EFKT3) is a complete floor finish applicator system for custodial crews that coat hallways, gym floors, lobbies and sales floors. The Unger Excella 18" floor finishing kit combines the Excella Offset Pole with Actuator (EFPL1), an 18" aluminum Mop Pad Holder (EF40B), three 20" Excella Finishing Pads (EF40F), two 1L Excella Bottles (EFBTL) and the Excella Backpack Complete (EFBAP), so floor finish is carried by the operator and dispensed at the pad.
Floor Finish Carried on Your Back
The Backpack Complete holds 1.3 gal (5 L) of floor finish in a fluid bag, and a hose and valve assembly runs from the backpack to the offset pole. The backpack is black and green nylon and weighs 2.5 lb empty. Carrying the finish on the back means no bucket of finish to drag along the floor, and larger areas can be coated before stopping to refill. For smaller jobs or touch ups, the two 1L (34 oz) Excella Bottles fit directly onto the pole.
Pressing the actuator button on the pole sends finish through a blockage free pulse system that dispenses liquid precisely ahead of the pad. The EFBTL bottles have a filling level guide and a high precision dispensing mechanism and nozzle.
Lint Free Finishing Pads on an 18" Holder
The white EF40F Excella Finishing Pad is 20" long and made of a lint free material that evenly distributes floor finishing product. A hook and loop backing secures it to the 18" EF40B holder, which is aluminum and weighs 0.8 lb, and each finishing pad is rated for 300 wash cycles. With three pads in the kit, a crew can change to a fresh pad between coats or rooms.
Rotatable grips on the offset pole let the operator lay down finish in an intuitive S shaped motion with minimal effort. The telescopic pole adjusts from 45" to 60" (114 to 152 cm): turn the locking collar, set the grip at the height of the worker's chin and tighten the locking cone, keeping the pole below the STOP indicator mark.
The 18" width suits corridors, classrooms, hotel hallways, offices and retail aisles in hospitals, hotels, commercial buildings and shopping centers, where the applicator has to coat open floor and still work cleanly along walls.
Part of the Unger Excella System
The EFKT3 uses the same pole and 18" holder as the Excella Floor Cleaning Kit 18", so one crew can clean and finish with the same handle by switching between Excella Cleaning Pads and Finishing Pads. Every part is sold separately, including replacement EF40F finishing pads, the Excella Bottle, an EFBAR replacement fluid bag and an EFTDS dispensing tube for the backpack valve assembly. For wider floors Unger offers the Excella Floor Finishing Kit 24", and the Excella Floor Finishing Straight Kit 18" pairs the backpack with a straight pole.

5 L Backpack for Floor Finish
The Excella Backpack Complete (EFBAP) holds 1.3 gal (5 L) in a fluid bag and weighs 2.5 lb. It feeds finish through a hose and valve assembly to the offset pole.

The EF40B holder is 18" wide, aluminum and 0.8 lb. It attaches securely to the base of the pole and takes Excella finishing and cleaning pads.
Two 1L Bottles for Smaller Jobs
Two EFBTL bottles, each 34 oz (1 L), fit the pole for touch ups and smaller rooms. Each bottle has a filling level guide and a high precision nozzle.
Telescopic Pole From 45" to 60"
The offset pole adjusts from 45" to 60" (114 to 152 cm) with a locking collar and locking cone. Rotatable grips guide the holder in an S shaped motion with minimal effort.
Serviceable Hose Assembly
The hose and valve assembly detaches from the pole and backpack for rinsing with clean warm water. The dispensing tube (EFTDS) and fluid bag (EFBAR) are available as replacements.

Installation & Care
Installation
Attach the EF40B mop pad holder securely to the base of the pole and press an EF40F finishing pad onto its hook and loop face. Fill the backpack fluid bag or an EFBTL bottle with floor finish and connect it to the pole. To set the height, turn the locking collar, raise or lower the pole until the grip meets the worker's chin, and tighten the locking cone; do not extend the pole past the STOP indicator mark. Press the actuator button to apply finish and spread it using an S shaped motion.
Care
After finishing, detach the hose and valve assembly from the pole and backpack and separate the valve from the hose. Remove the fluid bag, discard leftover finish per the finish manufacturer's instructions and rinse the bag with clean warm water. Rinse the valve assembly and dispensing tube; if the tube is clogged, flex it slightly, or replace it (EFTDS). Run clean warm water through the bag and hose, empty the bag, seal it and store it with the hose in the backpack. Launder finishing pads after use.

Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused Unger products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. You pay the return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted along with payment processing fees. Used items and special-order items can't be returned.
Unger covers this product with its Limited Lifetime Commercial Warranty for the original purchaser when it is bought from an authorized Unger reseller, as My Clean Supplies is. If the product has a defect in materials or workmanship, Unger will, at its option, replace or refund the product or the defective part free of charge. Unger defines lifetime as the reasonably expected useful life of the product under normal commercial use. Consumable items that need routine replacement, such as squeegee rubber, scraper blades, microfiber cloths, mop pads, resin, filters, membranes and cleaning solution, are not covered. Keep your proof of purchase.
