The Unger Excella Pocket Mop Holder (EFPMH) is a 16" frame that carries pocket style microfiber mops on the Unger Excella Floor Cleaning System. The Unger Excella 16" pocket mop holder slides into the stitched pockets of a pocket mop, holds the pad flat and secure while you work, and attaches to the base of an Excella pole, so custodial teams in schools, offices, retail stores and healthcare buildings can run pocket mops on the same ergonomic Excella pole they use for the rest of their floor care.
Built for Pocket Mop Pads
Pocket mops differ from hook and loop pads: the pad has stitched pockets at each end that wrap over the holder. The EFPMH is shaped for that style of microfiber mop pad. It secures the pocket mop so the pad does not slip on the frame during mopping and keeps full contact with the floor across its 16" width. When the pad is soiled, you pull it off the frame and fit a fresh one, so pad changes take little downtime between rooms.
Unger lists two pocket pads for this frame. The Unger Excella Pocket Mop (EFPMM) is a 16" microfiber pad with a 10mm looped pile and stitched pockets that attach to the pocket mop holder. The Unger Excella Micro Mop 10.0 (EFPMG) is a 16" pad with a 10mm looped pile in 100% polyester microfiber, listed for use with the EFPMH and with the SmartColor holders SM40G and SM40R. Both pads are rated for 300 wash cycles.
Light, Compact Plastic Frame
The holder is made of black plastic and measures 16" long, 4.2" wide and 1.8" high, with a weight of 1 lb. That low weight at the end of the pole makes the tool easy to handle and helps limit fatigue over a long shift, and the frame is built for heavy, commercial use in high traffic buildings.
Where It Fits in the Excella System
The pocket mop holder attaches to the base of an Unger Excella pole: the Offset Pole with Actuator (EFPL1), which dispenses cleaning solution from a bottle at the push of a button, or the Offset Pole (EFPL2) without a dispenser, where you apply solution to the floor yourself. With the EFPMH on the pole you mop in the same S motion as the rest of the Excella range, starting in the corner furthest from the door.
Unger also builds the holder into several Excella kits. The Floor Cleaning Mop Pack (EFKT6) pairs it with the Offset Pole, the Floor Cleaning Pocket Mop Kit (EFKT5) pairs it with the Offset Pole with Actuator and Excella Pocket Mops, and the Floor Cleaning Bucket Pack (EFKT7) adds a SmartColor Dual Bucket of 32 Qt. When used with the Unger dual bucket, you press the mop holder button to release the mop, dip it into the solution, press it out and drop it to the floor to begin mopping.
For teams that already own an Excella pole, the Unger Excella Pocket Mop Holder EFPMH adds pocket mop capability without a second handle, and a spare frame keeps a crew working when one is out of service.

Installation & Care
Installation
Attach the mop holder to the base of the Excella pole and check that it is secure before mopping. Slide the stitched pockets of the pocket mop pad over each end of the frame so the pad lies flat. With an actuator pole, press the actuator button to apply cleaning solution; with the Offset Pole, apply solution to the floor by hand. Mop the edges of the room first, then work in an S motion starting in the corner furthest from the door.
Care
Remove the pad after use and launder it per its own instructions (Excella pocket pads are rated for 300 wash cycles). Rinse the plastic frame with water, wipe it dry and store it off the floor, away from heat.

Unused Unger products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. You pay the return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted along with payment processing fees. Used items and special-order items can't be returned.
Unger covers this product with its Limited Lifetime Commercial Warranty for the original purchaser when it is bought from an authorized Unger reseller, as My Clean Supplies is. If the product has a defect in materials or workmanship, Unger will, at its option, replace or refund the product or the defective part free of charge. Unger defines lifetime as the reasonably expected useful life of the product under normal commercial use. Consumable items that need routine replacement, such as squeegee rubber, scraper blades, microfiber cloths, mop pads, resin, filters, membranes and cleaning solution, are not covered.
