The Unger Flood Sucker Bulb Changer (FS000) is a suction cup bulb changer for replacing floodlights and other flat light bulbs in high access areas. Mounted on a telescopic pole, this Unger floodlight bulb changer lets maintenance staff change bulbs from the ground instead of climbing a ladder or using a lift.
Suction Cups for Flat Bulbs
Flat faced bulbs are hard to grip with fingers or a cage style changer. The Flood Sucker uses suction cups that attach securely to the face of the bulb, so you can turn it out of the fixture and turn the new bulb in from below. The head is fully insulated.
The bulb changer is made of black plastic, measures 3.3" long, 3.3" wide and 3.8" high, and weighs 0.2 lb, so it adds very little weight to the top of an extended pole.
Fits Unger Telescopic Poles
The Flood Sucker fits onto a telescopic pole. Unger designs its bulb changing tools to fit the ErgoTec Locking Cone, which attaches securely to the top of the pole, keeps tools from coming loose or falling off in use, and releases with a quick-release button for fast tool changes. The locking cone comes standard with Unger aluminum telescopic poles.
Typical uses include floodlights in lobbies, hallways and common areas of commercial buildings, high ceiling display areas in retail stores, elevated lighting in warehouses and factories, and lighting in gyms, stadiums and other large facilities with high ceilings.
For safe, ground level replacement of floodlights and flat bulbs, pair the Unger Flood Sucker Bulb Changer FS000 with a telescopic pole of the right length for your ceilings.
Suction Cup Grip for Flat Bulbs
Suction cups attach securely to floodlights and other flat light bulbs. The bulb can be turned out and in from below.
Fully Insulated Design
The bulb changer head is fully insulated. Unger's bulb changers use insulated designs to keep custodians safe from heat while changing bulbs.
Works From the Ground
Fitted to a telescopic pole, it lets staff change high bulbs without ladders or lifts. Feet stay on the floor during the job.
Fits the ErgoTec Locking Cone
Unger bulb changing tools are designed to fit the ErgoTec Locking Cone on Unger telescopic poles. The cone keeps the tool from coming loose in use.
Lightweight 0.2 Lb Head
At 3.3" x 3.3" x 3.8" and 0.2 lb, the head adds little weight at the top of an extended pole. That helps keep the pole steady overhead.
Quick Tool Changes on the Pole
The ErgoTec Locking Cone releases tools with a quick-release button. Switch between the Flood Sucker and other Unger high access tools on the same pole.
Sold separately: Telescopic pole
Installation
Attach the Flood Sucker to the ErgoTec Locking Cone at the top of an Unger telescopic pole until it is secure, then extend the pole to the fixture. Turn off the light and let the bulb cool before pressing the suction cups onto the bulb face and turning it out.
Care
Wipe the suction cups clean with a damp cloth so they keep a good seal, and store the bulb changer off the pole away from heat and direct sunlight.
