The Unger MicroWipe 2000 Medium Duty (MB400, MB40B, MB40J, MB40R) is a 16" x 16" (40 x 40 cm) microfiber cloth in green, blue, yellow and red for general purpose cleaning. The Unger MicroWipe 2000 Medium Duty microfiber cloth traps dirt and absorbs liquid on glass, stainless steel and other surfaces, and it is graded for facilities that clean five days a week.
The Medium Duty Grade
In Unger's MicroWipe grading system the 2000 Medium Duty cleans medium duty soil loads and is designed for 5 day a week cleaning operations on multipurpose surfaces. It has medium absorbency, rated at 1400 ml (4.4 oz) on a standard US industry test, which suits everyday wiping with a damp cloth.
On ASTM tests Unger rates the cloth for a durability of 2000 wear cycles and a scrub factor of 36 for abrasiveness, and it is built for 1000 wash cycles with hand or normal wash and dry cycles. The fabric weight is 350 g/m2, each cloth is 0.1" thick and weighs 0.1 lb, and the large 16" x 16" size covers more surface area per pass.
SmartColor Coding by Zone
The four colors belong to Unger's SmartColor Cleaning System, a visual color coding system for designating cleaning zones. A facility assigns each color to an area, such as restrooms, food service areas, specialty areas or general areas, so cloths stay in their own zone and are not carried from one area to another. Staff can follow the color rather than written instructions, which simplifies training.
For daily general cleaning across color coded areas, the Unger MicroWipe 2000 Medium Duty gives custodial teams a washable, reusable microfiber cloth that balances absorbency, scrubbing and service life.

Installation & Care
Installation
No setup is needed. Pick the color assigned to the cleaning zone, fold the cloth into quarters for a hand sized pad and use it damp with your cleaning solution or dry, turning to a clean face as each side loads with soil.
Care
Unger's MicroWipe care guide: wash in water no warmer than 200°F (95°C), tumble dry on low heat, and do not iron, since heat melts the fabric. Do not use bleach or detergents with bleach, fabric softener or dryer sheets. Wash colors by zone to keep the coding intact.
