Unger SmartColor Dual Compartment Mop Bucket 16 Qt

The Unger SmartColor Dual Compartment Mop Bucket 16 Qt (COMSG gray, COMSR red) is a compact commercial floor cleaning bucket with a side press that keeps clean and dirty solution apart. The Unger 16 qt dual compartment mop bucket holds 16 qt (15 L), sized for smaller spaces, limited storage areas and stairs where a full size mop bucket is hard to handle.

Two compartments do the work of two buckets. A molded divider separates the front compartment, which holds fresh cleaning solution, from the rear compartment, where you wring and rinse the mop. Dirty rinse water stays behind the divider, so the mop goes back into clean solution, and the system uses less water and chemical than refilling a single bucket.

Compact Body with a Side Press

The bottomless side press wrings excess solution out of the mop and lets it fall into the rear compartment. The press handle can be mounted for left or right handed users. When the job is done, a rear mounted dump spout empties the bucket.

Four removable 3" casters let it roll down corridors and into small rooms, and they come off when you want the bucket to stay put. A practical carrying handle keeps the bucket upright when you lift it, for example on stairs. An indent holds the mop handle, a front molded hand grip doubles as a tool holder, and the bucket works with both string mops and flat mops. It also mounts on standard cleaning carts.

Gray for Floors, Red for Restrooms

Gray (COMSG) covers general floor care and red (COMSR) is Unger's restroom color, part of the SmartColor coding that helps teams keep restroom tools separate. Color coding labels are included. Both colors share the same plastic body: 21.6" long, 13" wide and 19.4" high, weighing 10.5 lb.

Installation & Care

Installation
Fit the casters into the base, insert the divider until it snaps into place, then attach the side press to the back half of the bucket and mount the press handle for left or right handed use.

Care
Fill the front compartment with cleaning solution and use the rear compartment to wring and rinse. Empty through the rear dump spout after each shift, rinse with clean water and let the bucket dry before storing.
