The Unger SmartColor Micro Mop 7.0 (MD400 green/white, MD40B blue/white, MD40R red/white) is a 16" (40 cm) medium duty microfiber flat mop for vinyl, sealed floors and other smooth surfaces without grout lines. The Unger SmartColor 16" microfiber mop has a 7mm cut microfiber pile that picks up dirt, dust and debris and glides across the floor with little drag, which reduces user fatigue on large areas.
7mm Pile for Smooth, Sealed Floors
Cut microfiber improves dirt absorption and supports streak free cleaning. The mop absorbs 6 times its own weight in water, so it handles efficient wet mopping and covers a large area per charge of solution. Fibers and support material are both 100% polyester. Unger lists the mop for ceramic tiles, epoxy coverings, sealed concrete and cement, sealed parquet and wood, and rolled flexible coverings such as linoleum, PVC, vinyl and rubber.
Medium duty construction makes it suited to everyday use, and it is built to withstand frequent laundering: the mop is machine washable up to 500 times.
SmartColor Zone Coding
As part of Unger's SmartColor Cleaning System, each color designates a cleaning zone, so the mop used in a restroom does not travel to a break room or food prep area. Unger recommends pairing each mop with a handle, bucket and other tools coded to the same zone, in use and in storage. Typical locations for the Micro Mop 7.0 are break rooms and kitchens, food service areas in healthcare, offices and commercial buildings, schools and universities, and retail spaces.
The mop attaches to SmartColor mop holders, including the SmartColor Flat Mop Holder (SM40G), and to the erGO Pocket Mop Holder (FAPMH). For tile and stone floors with grout lines, Unger offers the heavier SmartColor Micro Mop 15.0 with 15mm fibers. The Unger SmartColor Micro Mop 7.0 covers the daily mopping of smooth floors across a building, color by color.
Features
7mm Microfiber Pile
The medium duty 7mm pile removes dirt, dust and debris from smooth, sealed surfaces. It is made for vinyl and sealed floors without grout lines.
Low Drag Glide
The mop glides across the floor with reduced resistance. That means less user fatigue when mopping large areas through a shift.
Absorbs 6 Times Its Weight
The microfiber absorbs 6 times its own weight in water for efficient wet mopping. Cut fibers support a streak free finish.
Washable up to 500 Times
The mop is built to withstand frequent laundering and is machine washable up to 500 times. It keeps working through repeated washes.
SmartColor Zone Coding
Green, blue and red versions designate cleaning zones. Matching mops to zones keeps a restroom mop out of break rooms and food areas.
Fits SmartColor Holders
The 16" mop attaches to SmartColor mop holders such as the Flat Mop Holder SM40G and to the erGO Pocket Mop Holder FAPMH.
