The Unger Stingray Refillable Microfiber Cleaning Kit 5' (SRKB5) is an indoor glass cleaning system for professionals who want to clean windows, mirrors and other flat surfaces without a spray bottle and rag. The Unger Stingray 5' refillable microfiber kit pairs the Stingray handheld unit with one long extension pole, two Stingray Glass Washing Pads (SRPD2) and two Stingray Refillable Bottles (SRBT1).
How the Refillable Stingray Works
Each 5 oz bottle is filled with the cleaning solution of your choice and sits inside the handheld unit. Pressing the activation button runs a pump that releases solution through a spray jet embedded in the center of the flexible triangular head, straight into the microfiber pad. Unger states that this enclosed spray nozzle keeps chemicals from being sprayed into the air, protecting the user and the people nearby.
Because the liquid goes onto the pad and not into the room, Unger rates the method at 39% less liquid than traditional methods, and the Stingray at 25% faster cleaning than a rag and spray bottle. The pad only needs to be damp: the manual calls for a five second press to pre-moisten a fresh pad and about one second to re-moisten it during work.
Microfiber Washing Pads for Glass
The kit ships with two SRPD2 Glass Washing Pads. Their triangle shape reaches into corners, elastic bands hold them securely on the pad holder, and long fibers remove heavy dirt and grime. Color coding tabs on the pads let a team keep pads assigned to one area. Microfiber gives lint free, streak free results on glass and mirrors, and the pads come off for washing per the care label.
The low profile head cleans window frames with ease. Unger's method is to clean the frame first, working from one corner along all four edges, then clean the inner area of the glass. Beyond glass and mirrors, Unger lists tables and countertops, whiteboards, stainless steel and walls as surfaces the Stingray suits.
A 5' Kit That Grows
The 20" handheld unit works on its own as a hand tool for mirrors and counters, and clicks onto the 3.5' long extension pole for taller glass, giving the 5' kit its working length. The aluminum poles are light and rigid, with a triangular shape for grip, an easy click connection and their own activation button, so the pump can be triggered from the pole. The system accepts up to three long and one short extension pole for a maximum length of about 12'.

Installation & Care
Installation
Slide the green button back and lift the lid, remove the bottle and unscrew the cap. Fill the bottle outside the unit with up to 5 oz of conventional window, glass or multi surface cleaner (no concentrates, creams, gels, abrasives or bleach), recap tightly, push it onto the connector logo side up and close the lid until the green button locks. Stretch the pad's elastic bands over the corners of the pad holder. Click the extension pole on so the locking pins seat in the pin holes; press the pin to separate. Two AA batteries go in the compartment under the bottle.
Care
Wipe up any solution that drips into the unit. After use remove the pad, then clean and dry the handheld unit and poles with a microfiber cloth; do not rinse them under running water. Wash pads per the pad tag. Store the Stingray upright, head up, in a dry place between 40°F and 105°F, never below 32°F, and do not lean extended poles against a wall. Remove the batteries for long storage; the unit fits standard wall tool holders.

Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused Unger products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. You pay the return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted along with payment processing fees. Used items and special-order items can't be returned.
Unger covers this product with its Limited Lifetime Commercial Warranty for the original purchaser when it is bought from an authorized Unger reseller, as My Clean Supplies is. If the product has a defect in materials or workmanship, Unger will, at its option, replace or refund the product or the defective part free of charge. Unger defines lifetime as the reasonably expected useful life of the product under normal commercial use. Consumable items that need routine replacement, such as squeegee rubber, scraper blades, microfiber cloths, mop pads, resin, filters, membranes and cleaning solution, are not covered.
