The MediTub 2753WIRWD is a 27" x 53" fully loaded walk-in bathtub in white, with the door and drain on the right and a combined whirlpool and air massage system. It is built for bathers who want a safe, seated bath without climbing over a tub wall: the wide inward-swinging door opens to a 4.25" low entry threshold, and the molded seat sits 17.75" high with a 23" x 12.5" sitting area, so you sit down before the water goes in and stay seated through the soak.
Fully loaded means the 2753WIRWD arrives with everything a walk-in tub can carry: 12 whirlpool jets, air jets, an inline heater, aromatherapy, chromatherapy lighting, a soft touch control console and a Quick Fill faucet with a handheld shower. It suits aging in place, an ADA bathroom remodel or any home where someone finds a standard step-over tub difficult.
Whirlpool, Air and Heat From One Console
Close the door and the Quick Fill waterfall filler fills the tub fast, through a thermostatic mixer with a 104°F safety lock, to a 33" soaking depth. 12 fully adjustable whirlpool jets give a targeted hydro massage, Acu-Stream air jets add a soft, total-body bubble massage, and the two run separately or together from the soft touch console, which also shows the water temperature. The inline maintenance heater works while the water jets run and slows the cooling of the bath, shutting off automatically at 113°F.
Aromatherapy scents the air bubbles with fragrance beads in the aroma cap, and chromatherapy lighting cycles through seven colors or holds the one you choose. When the soak is over, rinse off with the handheld Euro-Grip shower, which reaches 60" on its hose, without standing up.
Safety Built Into the Shell
Built-in Safe Reach grab bars, a slip-resistant textured floor and an ADA compliant built-in seat support you on the way in and out, with 3 grab bars placed around the tub. The door closes on a watertight pressure seal, and the polished chrome buttons, jets and hardware stand out against the glossy white finish.
The shell is glossy white marine grade acrylic reinforced with fiberglass on a freestanding steel support frame with adjustable leveling feet. The tub is ETL listed.
Built for a 60" Alcove Retrofit
Measured for the room, the MediTub 27" x 53" fully loaded walk-in bathtub is 52.5" L x 26.5" W x 40" H overall. The 7" matching extension kit is in the box and brings the tub to 60" L x 32" W x 40" H, so it fills a standard 60" alcove when it replaces an old bathtub. It connects to 1/2" IPS hot and cold supplies and a drain opening of at least 3", and it needs two dedicated 20 A GFCI circuits.
The fully loaded range comes in two 27" x 53" versions, the 2753FL and the 2753WI, each with the door and drain on the left or right, plus the 29" x 53" 2953WC wheelchair accessible tub.
In short, the MediTub 2753WIRWD puts whirlpool and air massage, heat, light, scent and a fast-filling faucet into one 27" x 53" walk-in bathtub, so bathing at home stays safe, independent and relaxing.
Features
Low 4.25" Entry Threshold
The wide inward-swinging door opens to a 4.25" low entry threshold, and the molded seat sits 17.75" high with a 23" x 12.5" sitting area, so nobody has to lift a leg over a tub wall.
Quick Fill Faucet Included
The Quick Fill waterfall filler fills the tub fast, and the handheld Euro-Grip shower on a 60" reach lets you rinse while seated.
Thermostatic 104°F Safety Lock
A thermostatic mixer holds the water temperature you set and locks at 104°F, so the fill cannot run too hot by mistake.
12 Whirlpool and Air Jets
12 fully adjustable whirlpool jets and Acu-Stream air jets combine a targeted hydro massage with a soft, total-body bubble massage.
Inline Maintenance Heater
The inline heater runs with the water jets and slows the cooling of the bath, then shuts off automatically once the water reaches 113°F.
Aromatherapy and Chromatherapy
Fragrance beads in the aroma cap scent the air bubbles, and the underwater light cycles through seven colors or holds one.
Soft Touch Control Console
One soft touch console runs the jets, heater and light and shows the water temperature, and it locks itself after a minute of no use.
Grab Bars and Textured Floor
Built-in Safe Reach grab bars, a slip-resistant textured floor and an ADA compliant seat give you support and secure footing in and out.
Fits a Standard 60" Alcove
The included 7" matching extension kit fills out a standard 60" bathtub alcove, so the tub can replace an existing step-over bathtub.
Reinforced Acrylic on Steel
Glossy white marine grade acrylic with fiberglass reinforcement rides on a freestanding steel frame with leveling feet that keep the door seal true.

Installation & Care
Installation
Door and drain on the right; overall 52.5" L x 26.5" W x 40" H. Position the tub so the hot and cold supplies and the drain hole line up with the layout drawings in the manual, flush the supply lines for one minute, then connect the red braided hose to hot and the blue to cold on 1/2" IPS male supplies; supply valves are recommended for maintenance. The drain opening must be at least 3", and the drain connects with UPC approved PVC glue and pipe. Electrical: AC 110V, 60 Hz on two 20 A single-pole breakers, with the circuit protected by a GFCI, wired by a qualified electrician to local codes. The 7" extension kit closes a 60" alcove. Level the tub on its feet with all of them touching the floor, water test it before it is enclosed, keep the motor access panel reachable, and lift it only by the frame handles. MediTub requires a licensed plumber and electrician; the installation manual is in Resources.
Care
Flush the jet piping before first use and monthly: fill with hot water 2" to 3" above the jets with 2 to 3 teaspoons of low-foaming dishwasher detergent, run the jets 10 minutes and drain, then refill with cold water, run 15 minutes and drain. Clean the suction cover of hair and lint monthly and never run the pump dry or without the cover. Clean the acrylic with soap, hot water and a non-abrasive cloth or sponge; test any stronger cleaner on a hidden spot first, rinse it off at once and never let it soak. Keep the bath at or below 102°F.
