Installation & Care
Installation
Wall mounted with the screws and anchors supplied (10 #8 x 1.77" screws and 10 anchors in the parts list). Tools needed: a screwdriver, a drill with bits, a pencil, a level, masking tape and a rubber mallet, plus the paper template from the box. Tape the paper template to the wall, level it and mark the holes. Into a wood stud through tile: drill 7/64" pilot holes, then open the tile only to 11/64" so the screws pass. Into drywall: drill 1/8" pilot holes and use drywall anchors (not provided). Into a solid wall: drill 1/4" holes and tap in the supplied anchors. Fix the brackets, then slide each piece on and tighten its set screw with the hex wrench. The pieces are not grab bars, and some walls may need added wood blocking behind the drywall. ANZZI cautions: "Use caution when drilling into walls to avoid drilling into electrical and plumbing lines hidden within wall."
Care
The finish is durable but can be damaged by harsh abrasives or polish. Wipe gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel. For a deeper clean, use regular soap and hot water with a non-abrasive cloth; test stronger cleaners on a hidden spot and never let a cleaner soak.
