Full filtration in a slim cabinet

Full filtration in a slim cabinet

The Mighty Mite runs the same three stages as the wider Aeroclean units: a pad pre-filter, a ring panel and a HEPA filter, here in a 24" x 16" size. Air passes all three before the motor-blower moves it out the exhaust.

The narrower filters let the cabinet shrink to 18" wide while still delivering 1850 CFM on high.

Its own 24" x 16" filters

Its own 24" x 16" filters

The 9180 and 9180FF take 24" x 16" pre-filter pads, ring panels and a 24" x 16" x 12" HEPA filter, a size shared with no other Aeroclean model. Keep a set on the truck, because a 24" x 24" filter will not fit.

Change the first-stage pad daily on round-the-clock work and plan the HEPA change before the gauge passes 3.0".

Sized for tight containments

Sized for tight containments

At 18" wide, the Mighty Mite goes through standard doorways and fits in hallways and small rooms where a 26" wide cabinet blocks the work. It rolls on four heavy-duty casters and carries four handles.

Choose the Full Feature package when the job calls for an audible filter alarm.

Got Questions?

Find answers below or contact our support team.

How wide is the Mighty Mite?

The cabinet is 18" wide, 26" high and 33" long, narrow enough for standard doorways.

What does the Full Feature package add?

The 9180FF adds a red LED high-pressure warning light with an audio alarm to the standard gauge, breaker and two-speed switch. Airflow and filters are the same.

What filters does the 9180 use?

A 24" x 16" pad pre-filter, a 24" x 16" ring panel and a 24" x 16" HEPA filter. Replacements are sold in the Aeroclean Mighty Mite 1800 Series replacement filter listing.

How much air does it move?

It is rated 1850 CFM on high and 1200 CFM on low at 1.8" running static pressure.

How often should the HEPA filter be changed?

Aerospace America suggests a new HEPA filter about every 350 hours of use, sooner on dusty jobs. Keep an eye on the pressure gauge: a clean set of filters reads about 1.8" to 2.2" of water column, and the unit should not run past 3.0".
