The AlorAir CleanShield HEPA 550 is a portable air scrubber and negative air machine for water, fire and mold restoration. It pulls air through a MERV-10 pre-filter and a combined HEPA and activated carbon filter, at a variable 270 to 550 CFM on a 2.5 A draw, and AlorAir sizes it for spaces up to 800ft².
At 39.6 lbs, with a top handle and a rotomolded polyethylene body, it carries into basements and gutted rooms and stacks two high. Duct the 8" outlet out of a containment for negative air, chain up to three units from one outlet, and the CleanShield HEPA 550 keeps dust, spores and odors down while the crew works.
Available in yellow, red, green and blue, all the same machine.

3-Stage Filtration
A MERV-10 pre-filter stops dust, lint and hair, and a combined HEPA and activated carbon filter captures particles down to 0.3 microns plus smoke, paint fumes and other odors.
Variable 270 to 550 CFM
A speed knob on the control panel sets airflow anywhere across the range, drawing 2.5 A at full speed.
Negative Air Ready
Remove the plastic cap and duct the 8" outlet out of the work area. The 16" inlet can be ducted too.
Daisy Chain Up to Three Units
A GFCI auxiliary outlet powers up to three scrubbers from one wall outlet, under 9 A with all running.
Filter Change Light
A light on the control panel tells you when the HEPA carbon filter needs replacing.
12 A Circuit Breaker
Cuts power to the unit and anything plugged into it if the load goes over 12 A.
Stackable Rotomolded Housing
The polyethylene body stacks two high in operation and lies flat in a stack for storage, with a 23' power cord.

Setup & Placement
Stand the unit upright on a level, steady surface in the middle of the affected area. Plug it straight into a grounded outlet with GFCI protection, with no adapter, and set the speed with the variable speed knob. Stack no more than two units while running.
For containment work, seal the area, duct the 8" outlet outside the containment and turn off open combustion appliances such as furnaces, water heaters and fireplaces to avoid backdrafting carbon monoxide.
