The AlorAir PureAiro HEPA Max 870 adds a UV-C lamp to the pre-filter and combined HEPA and activated carbon filter of the Max 770. It moves a variable 270 to 550 CFM on a 2.5 A draw, making it a restoration air scrubber for sewage, mold and fire jobs where germs and odors matter as much as dust.
It uses the Max body: a 14" intake, an 8" ductable outlet and a 37.4-lb rotomolded housing that stacks two high. Run it in the open to scrub a drying room, or duct it out of a containment as a negative air machine, and the PureAiro HEPA Max 870 logs every hour on its meter.

UV-C Light Stage
A built-in UV-C lamp works with the filters against airborne germs and, per AlorAir, activates a titanium dioxide coating that breaks down lingering odors.
HEPA and Carbon Filtration
The pre-filter and combined HEPA and activated carbon filter capture particles down to 0.3 microns plus smoke, sewage and paint odors, at 270 to 550 CFM.
Negative Air Ready
Remove the plastic cap and duct the 8" outlet out of the containment. The inlet takes ducting as well.
Daisy Chain Up to Three Units
A GFCI duplex outlet on the control panel powers up to three scrubbers from one wall outlet, under 9 A with all running.
Hour Meter and Filter Light
The hour meter logs run time for job records, and a light tells you when the HEPA carbon filter needs changing.

Setup & Placement
Stand the scrubber upright on a level, steady surface, plug it straight into a grounded GFCI outlet without an adapter, and set the airflow with the variable speed knob. Do not stack more than two units while running.
For containment work, duct the 8" outlet outside the sealed area and turn off open combustion appliances such as furnaces, water heaters and fireplaces so the negative pressure cannot draw carbon monoxide back into the space.
