The AlorAir Sentinel HD55S is an Energy Star certified crawl space and basement dehumidifier. It removes 55 pints of water a day at AHAM conditions (80°F, 60% RH) and up to 120 pints a day at saturation (90°F, 90% RH), for spaces up to 1,300ft², at 2.4 L/kWh on a 4.1 A draw.
Built for permanent installs, it sits low under the joists, drains continuously by gravity and can duct dry air into a finished room through a 6" collar. A bypass-air humidity sensor and automatic defrost let the Sentinel HD55S hold a steady setpoint in a cool, damp crawl space.
Available in white or gold, and in white with WiFi control through the AlorAir-C app.

Auto Defrost and Memory Restart

Mount AlorAir's optional remote in the living space on its 25' CAT 5 cable; its own sensor can take over humidity control.

Setup & Placement
Seal the space first: AlorAir specifies a vapor barrier on the ground and closed vents. Raise the unit level on blocks or pavers, since gravity drainage needs height unless it feeds a sump pump beside it. If it has been tipped in transit, leave it upright for at least 2 hours before switching on.
Route the drain downhill with no loops or dips; AlorAir recommends transitioning to 3/4" PVC. Keep 36" clear in front of the discharge, and plug into a grounded 15 A circuit with a GFCI outlet.
