Spring Tension, No Drilling
This tension shower rod holds itself in place. The rod uses a full spring structure: it is fixed by the pressure of the telescopic spring against the support of the two wall surfaces. Its sturdy rubber ends help the rod stay still and will not damage the wall. No drilling is required, and installation is damage and scratch free.
ANZZI's installation guide sets out the steps. Confirm the distance between the two wall surfaces where the rod will sit, then rotate the rod to lengthen it to about 1.4" longer than that distance. Place one end on the wall, tilt the rod and compress the spring so the rod fits between the walls. Adjust it to level, then release it so it rebounds and fixes against the wall surfaces.
One caution from the guide: do not turn the rod once it is fixed between the walls. To change its position or length, compress the spring and take it down first, then adjust and set it again.
Sized for 48" to 88" Spans
The rod adjusts anywhere from 48" to 88", and it can be applied to surfaces from smooth to rough. Measure the wall-to-wall span at the height you want the curtain before you order; the other length in the range is the AC-AZSR55, which covers 33" to 55".
The parts list in ANZZI's manual is two stainless steel tubes, two stainless steel end covers, two plastic mounts, one spring and 12 shower curtain rings. The rings come in a finish matching the rod and are made from stainless steel for long term use. ANZZI's AC-AZSR88 listing describes the rod as rust resistant.

Installation & Care
Installation
No drilling. ANZZI's guide: confirm the distance between the two wall surfaces, rotate the rod to lengthen it to about 1.4" longer than that distance, place one end on the wall, tilt the rod and compress the spring to fit it between the walls, adjust it to level and release it so it rebounds and fixes in place. The rod is held only by spring pressure against the walls. Do not turn the rod once it is fixed between the walls; take it down to adjust it.
Care
Wipe the rod and rings with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry them. Avoid abrasive pads; test any stronger cleaner on a hidden spot first and do not let cleaner soak on the metal.

ANZZI ships this item from the SW Corp warehouse by UPS, FedEx or USPS, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused ANZZI products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. You pay the return shipping, which for a freight item means the freight cost, and a 20% restocking fee is deducted along with payment processing fees. Installed, used or damaged products and special-order items can't be returned.
ANZZI warrants this shower rod to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for its lifetime, for residential use, and replaces a defective product or part free of charge. Register it at anzzi.com/register within 90 days of delivery to activate the warranty, and report any surface damage within 5 days of delivery, before installation. Shipping, handling and labor costs, commercial use, improper installation or maintenance, misuse, hard-water or mineral deposits and corrosive cleaners are not covered.
Warranty claims. Call ANZZI at 1-844-442-6994 (1-844-44-ANZZI) with your proof of purchase to submit a claim and get a return authorization (RMA). Register the product at anzzi.com/register within 90 days of delivery, or the warranty is not active. Contact us with your order number if you would like help with the claim.
